Carrying Supplies For Runners

So every year we get asked to help take supplies up and run the Aid Station for the Moab Trails Marathon. This year it was a marathon accompanied by a 10k also. The boxes we usually use to store all the supplies on the trailer have seen better days, so we decided to make a new one. Then while I was gone taking Ol Blue up to Grand Junction we got a call for a Ford Ranger that had lost its wheel on Kane Creek Road, so I sent Shawn And Mike to get that and get it back to the shop. Then Saturday came for the race and Chris and I headed up Cliffhanger Trail early in the morning to get all set up. The trip up had a slight issue with the pintle hitch coming undone, but other than that things went smooth. The day went well and at the end there were two runners that didn't feel they could make it down on their own, so we offered to give them a ride. We got them back down to the start line and dropped off the extra supplies and we shall be back next year. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

Thank you Team Trail Mater for supporting local initiatives... hauling supplies in and then the garbage out afterwards.. Great land stewardship 🙂 Great job Shawn and Mike 🙂 Safety chains to the rescue... doing what they are designed to do 🙂 "The runners are on the trail"... classic Dad joke Mike 😂🤣😂

It's amazing everything Rory and The Trail Mater does for the Moab area, from trail repairs to trucking supplies to remote areas for a Marathon!! Rory is always stressing about taking care of our land and to stop destroying and trashing it, wish more people would listen!!😃 Safety chains to the rescue of the supply trailer!! Mike always has the best!!🤣

As much as you guys poke fun of runners, it's great to see you support everyone who responsibly uses and enjoys the trails in your area. I know the race organizers and runners are highly appreciative of you setting up that aid station year after year. It's a logistics nightmare that they don't have to worry about due to your help.

Biden did not just kill our oil on federal lands, he killed mining them too, $18 for a hamburger? I was gonna start fishing again then I seen how much sinkers and everything else made out lead costs now! yep, it costs my brother $38 for get two burgers, 2 fry's and 2 sodas for him and his son the other day! they said food was gonna get expensive because farmers have to pay so much for fuel but it was worse than I thought it would get!!!

Plus when in a previous video you asked about raw footage which was pretty cool . I think a unique video would be having one under the chassis showing the drive shaft operate in front and or rear digs. My.02 cent worth & keep the little outtakes at the end those always crack me up. Especially with the runners bit. I found that funny.

In my area, people have cut down trees to widen roads, and just drop trash and beer bottles for shooting practice on the roads and the residents have to clean the trash, the glass is in the sand and much harder to clean. People don't respect wildlife, the outdoors. Thank you, Rory.

SXS's have shut down a bunch of 4x4 trails in Arkansas due to "just going around" that ends up making a whole new trail. A great rock trail was closed not even 6 months after the SXS craze started because they cut through the forest for 2 miles around it.

Always great to see your videos, Rory … no matter what you’re doing. And yes, you have a very beautiful area there … but it’s been my experience it doesn’t matter how beautiful an area is there’s bound to be people who don’t appreciate it. We don’t have a Bureau of Land Management here where I live … it’s all public land for the most part … and it just rankles the heck out of me to see how little some folks appreciate just what we have here. When I see you and Shawn and Mike make a point of stopping to pick up garbage on the trails … and cleaning up every little bit of debris from a wrecked vehicle, etc, etc … even though I’m over three thousand miles away from you, I really appreciate it … and I’m sure there are lots of locals in your area do too. Stay safe out there.

My goodness that is such pretty pretty countryside! Used to live there. Feels like home seeing it. Moab is hands down the most beautiful area of all the red rock country. I've been around a lot of it, and Moab beats everywhere else hands down. That is some heccin rough terrain to be running! My shins are feeling the old shin splints and ankles feeling the twists and sprains just looking at it in the context of running. But hey, if youre going to suffer while running, it might as well be in some of the most picturesque surroundings God made. Hilarious when the trailer decided to go into cartoon mode. Reminds me of way back in the day there in Moab when a trailer did that on Spanish Valley Road, only the driver didnt have a safety chain and his trailer passed him then parked itself in some lady's living room. Trail Mater Crew, funny as ever. I love your banter and laughs. Thank you so much for the bright spots in life.
