This map looks great, I can see a lot of influence from past Halo maps: Midship - The open face-to-face bases Epitaph - The floating platform in the middle Elongation - The stretched-out hallway feeling Prisoner - The various ramps and areas of elevation for firefights Launch Site and Lockout - the walkways and terraces overlooking the outside
This is very similar to a map I'm designing for a game I'm working on. Interesting to see how similar they are. This map (and mine) remind me alot of old quake, and quake clone maps, which is definitely where I got my inspiration from, wonder were they got theirs 🤔
Seems maybe a bit big for an arena map, but I can see this working. Maybe a few too many lanes, but super cool to get a symmetrical double sniper map either way.
We need some bigger and more interesting arena maps. Majority of maps rn are sweaty tight 3 lanes. The heavy focus on comp has dumbed Halo down so much.
I wasnt too hyped about the other maps they were cool, but i actually like how this one looks Ik this is a banished map but Reminds me of that mission in H3 ODST when Dutch and Mickey go on the elevator w the drones in that NMPD building

I notice that Solitude and Cataract are two of the four maps that got leaked last December! Do you got anything for the maps for Bath Salts, and Forbidden?
@@golden_lemonade I think it was set in a space ship. Was symmetrical with two long bases on either side and a long wall or something in the middle, I'll have to look at the maps to see
I kinda prefer this aesthetic, it is reminiscent of halo 2 and reach maps for some reason. It could definitely use some detail though, it’s a bit too smooth
I know this sin't the final product, but the base design of it feels a bit too similar to all the rest of 4v4 maps. I mean it certainly works but it's just another Bazaar, Streets, Livefire type of map, those are the most boring types of maps, the only thing that seem to really change is the scenario and background, I feel like we NEED more creative maps, that might not work too well on competitive but at least feels unique and makes the game less repetitive...
This is THE most creative map in the whole game. This is exactly what you're asking for. It doesn't look or have a similar layout to any other maps. The only thing I can relate it to is parts of it very vaguely resembling the side lanes on aquarius.
@@yoyo21926 But that's literally what I'm not much of a fan. Makes the maps feel like something out of Call of Duty games. I want really creative things like Spire, Boarding Action or even maps with some unique stand out features like there were in Halo 3

What intern y'all getting to make these awful maps??
Skill problem. Little tip: go for cover when you spawn, or duck your head and run away. There is no way that all four players can shoot you at once on this map. It's definitely a skill issue bro.
