Among the vintage aircraft anniversaries celebrated at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021 was the 80th (plus one) anniversary of the classic, easily distinguishable, twin-tailed Ercoupe. Twenty-eight Ercoupes made the trip to Oshkosh from all over the country, many of them arriving together on the Sunday morning prior to convention after departing from Wausau, Wisconsin, following the Ercoupe Owners Club’s National Ercoupe Convention.
