The best sounding modern day V12! It’s raw and visceral. At least once a week I crank up my headphones to Shmee150’s autobahn drive video of the Aventador S.. the pops and crackles of this engine adds to the experience. Everyone complains about being a single clutch gearbox and it’s not as refined as a DCT, but it’s a BULL! Bulls were meant to buck, and be a little harsh on you.. that’s why you hold on and ride em hard!
You are the Man Aaron! I have not forgotten you. We are in the process of getting some of the NSX race engines out of storage. I will do a video on what we did to the valve train and how to set the valve clearance. My accountant has the pressure on me to make sure I justify writing off the Supercars.
Adam Saruwatari Xtreme No problem pal - I appreciate you giving us a rare glimpse of your old race program.. Speaking of the old days, we’ve got a set of your old Weld wheels with the custom “FD” offset.. Roan’s got it on his 8 second street FD and it makes for a great conversation piece lol.. “Adam’s old wheels”. Keep the videos coming! 👍
Tell Roan he is an animal. My Dad and I were just talking about what it would take to get the RX-7 running again this morning. If I ever make it to monetize , I should have more latitude in what I do.
I never knew this about the center lock wheels. So cool. And dude that tool you have for taking the wheels on and off... wish I had one of those. Can I borrow yours some time??? LoL
@@AdamSaruwatariXtreme Would greatly appreciate! I have a 2018 aventador s with centerlocks. Would love to have those necessary tools to remove wheels and such. Thanks!
Congrats on your S bud. Here is the link to the adapter set I bought. I bought these tools a long time ago, so it takes a while to find them. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JLM0JY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I will find the breaker bar and torque wench. None of the tools I have listed have broken yet, and I use them on farm equipment all the time. I am sure you know that Snap On is the way to go if you want to have the best chance of not having a failure.
Here is the 1" breaker bar. It is strong enough to take a cheater pipe if you need it. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F0KAGKO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the link for the torque wrench. There may be better equipment or pricing available now, as it has been around 4 years since I bought these tools. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000RT8ENE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
