The way Mike tied his shirt up at the end is also very on trend, 11/10 so on point always upping the fashion game and constantly pushing the boundaries of fashion forward

The best way to justify Ben's win is that Ben's dish would cost more at a restaurant because of the technique and the way Ben elevated a humble dish. Whereas James' dish would be expensive because of the cut of meat he used

First of all, let me tell you that this might be my favourite video on this channel. I loved the creativity of the recipes and was amazed by the level of your techniques. I will definitely try to copy Ben's quail for a special occasion, but I feel like the judges neglected the side dishes on James's plate. That marrow bone mashed potatoes would have killed me, sent me to heaven, brought me back to life and given me a a gentle hug before kissing me goodnight. I mean come on, it's not all about the protein !!! (And that comes from an avid carnivore)

I'm 99% sure that I've watched every single FridgeCam video so far and I must say I'm loving the new format! Plus it helps that now FridgeCam is TWICE a week?! You guys are too good to us. :')

Guys!! Where to start... First off, so glad Ebbers vs Currie finally happened. What an awesome way to start the new show! So this is what happens when real chefs cook... quite a difference from the usual recipes you guys share with us! Both plates looked amazing but my vote goes to Ben. I loved all the ingredients he used and its a dish I would definitely order at a restaurant. Final thought, wee bit confused as to why Mike, the self proclaimed idiot that he is was allowed to teach us how to cook scrambled eggs. All in all, love the new show. You guys are consistently raising the bar. Job well done!

Nice contest! I agree that Ebbers squeaked out the win. Both made delicious cheffy offerings, but Ben's was slightly more creative and thus heavier on technique.

The Bone Marrow potatoes look delicious. Rok in Angel (London) makes a delicious version of that where the potatoes are left in chunks. It was absolutely the best potatoes I ever had. You guys should visit!
