Chicken Pad Thai / Easy Rice Noodle Recipe 

Thanks for the tip on using super firm tofu. I have never used palm sugar...or even see it in the store. I may need to go online to be able to try it. Good to know dark brown sugar is a good substitute. Interesting that the traditional pad thai is very fishy, even for someone who likes fish. I still have yet to dry dark soy sauce. You know I have a sweet tooth, so I am sure I would like it. I have never seen Asian chives before. The leaves definitely look bigger and flatter, I agree. I think a touch of garlic with the onion would be nice. I like you cooked the chicken and tofu, then eggs, then noodles, then bean sprouts, etc. Very interesting to see the progress. I tried a similar version a year ago and wow was it great. And like you say, super fast. Now we're near a fantastic Asian market so we'll be looking for those garlicky chives. Never tried this wine but heard about it because of watching Fess Parker's Daniel Boone character on Disney when I was a kid😃

This is what I like. Noodle recipe, any kinds of noodle, actually I haven’t tried any thai foods yet, however, we’re considering to try one restaurant here in our city. OMG! First the wine looks gorgeous! I could smell it from your description. Going to look for it. I love this recipe! I amazingly have most of the ingredients.. but found it interesting that i need an extra extra firm tofu. Do u think if I perhaps put an extra firm tofu in the freezer and then thawed it might be firm enough? Just asking because I only have firm tofu at my local grocery unless I seek out an asian market.
