Chickpea Curry/Channa Masala
Ingredients:
2 cans - Chickpeas (drained)
2inch - Ginger
4-5 -Cloves of garlic
2 - Medium onions
2 - Medium tomatoes

Whole spices:
3 - Green cardamoms
2 inch - stick cinnamon
4 - whole cloves
===================
Other Ingredients:
2tsp - Chole Masala (any brand)
½ tsp - Turmeric powder
1tsp - Coriander powder
1tsp - Cumin powder
1tsp - Garam Masala
4-5tbs - Oil
1tsp - Salt to taste
3-4 - Fresh green chillies
4tbs - Fresh Coriander

Method:
• Start by blending the ginger, garlic, and onion into a paste.
• Blend tomatoes into a puree
• Heat oil in a pan and add the whole spices and mix for 1-2 minutes or till it releases its aroma.
• Now add the blended onion paste and cook well till it reduces in quantity and the oil releases.
• Add all the dry spices except for the (garam masala). Mix through for 2-3 minutes.
• Now add the tomato puree and cook for 3-5 minutes or till the oil releases.
• Add the chickpeas and salt and cook for 2-3 minutes.
• Now add the reserved chickpea stock and cook with the lid on for 10-15 minutes.
• Add the green chilies and garam masala and stir through for 2-3 minutes. Adjust the thickness of the gravy by adding water if required.
• Garnish with fresh coriander.
• Serve with chapati, parathas or nan roti.😊😍
