Good suggestion that there can be two China’s in the world but it is a long forgone argument that can no longer be used. The reason is because the whole world has already signed up to the agreement that there is only One China and that Taiwan is a part of China. 99% of the World population recognises the Government in Beijing as the Legal Government of all China whilst 0.5% of the world population recognises the Government in Taipei as the legal Government of all of China.

Republic of China. there is only one China which is the mainland. This is giving the international community a headache. Taiwan should reconsider renaming their government to Republic of Taiwan a distinct one. So confusing. so if Taiwan is china. the mainland is the west Taiwan.

I watched your video today and appreciated the Taiwan news about the protests. Taiwan Talks is very informative as an American, but recieving this information in the US is limited. My posts can somewhat be erratic but has a theme. I only want a democratic society for Taiwan. The US had it's problems during the revolution in the late 1700''s but none that Taiwan faces today. You have pressure from the UN ( I have some choice words to the US if this a problem for Taiwan ). You also have the internet (Social Media) that is bombarding your country from the CCP with less than honest information. Taiwan also has to be passive with the CCP military crossovers into Taiwanese areas. I hope that Taiwanese citizens understand that the CCP wants Taiwan to become another Hong Kong an not give into the CCP pressure. I can understand the Taiwanese to wonder about the US backing after the Republicans stopped with the weapons backing to Ukraine, but the possibility of Mainland China controllin shipping routes for Japan, South Korea. Phillipines, Vietnam, just the whole SE Asia is not an option. I may not know a lot, but history tells all. End it before it begins. The US and its allies remembers. ( Please do not think I am not a fan of Japan. They and Germany were smart enough to follow the lead of democracy ). There would be no NATO if for WWII.
