This video explains the SFA matrix of Johnson and Scholes. It's invented to make the choice of which (strategic) option fits best to solve your central problem. It is part of your strategic marketing planningproces.

Last two months I am doing 6 steps to marketing planning with your videos and the result I came are extremely valuable. Thank you for such great explanations and examples, and everything you did in your videos (including great presentation, calm voice, detailed overview). Thanks to them I could analyze all my company from different angles, understand my company's issues and set a strategy that will solve these problems and get me where I want. Hi, thanks for all your videos. I find it very useful. Maybe can you make a video about balance scorecard, key performance indicator, budgeting, lean-philosphy and what are these related to marketing/strategies/decision making? I'm studying in a business school where english is not a medium of teaching, and your videos save me hours of by just reading a non-english syllabus and books.

I will do a Dutch series in a short while... I covered almost all most important models in English now and get a major request to do them in Dutch aswell... Are missing any specific models?

@@PepijnSchoemakerWebinars Ik ben zelf achter jouw video's gekomen door te zoeken op RU-vid. Ik adviseer de HvA dit echt tijdens de lessen te communiceren! Wanneer modellen tijdens projecten of afstudeeropdrachten weer toegepast moeten worden is het heel handig om deze video te bekijken en het geheugen "op te frissen"

@@michaelsoest Dat gebeurt al. Ik heb ze zelf ontwikkeld ter ondersteuning van mij vak International Marketing. Maar ze worden allang ook bij andere vakken gebruikt ter ondersteuning of om 'op te frissen'. Als ik de Nederlandse versies af heb wordt het nog wat toegankelijker. Deze Engelstalige versies worden echter veel breder gedragen door internationale studenten die niet bij ons studeren. Geeft me ook voldoening.

It is very nice and well explained all your models and strategies. I loved it. I would recommend or suggest that can you please give the numbers to video, as per your initial six step framework, So any one can get idea that ohk I have to start with this first video and then abell and then Porter's five forces.. and so one. You can just change the name by adding number before the video. It would be great. Thanks and lots of respect and love. - Anand Bhatt

Very good idea. Although, not everyone likes or needs to see all the video's. Perhaps it could work confusing, as if they can't just watch 'video 7'. So, I give some suggestions during the video's of corresponding video's or video's related to the topic. But still, you are right, there could be a specific order. In my later Dutch video's I really strongly suggest certain video's to watch. But these English ones are older and thus less developed... I wasn't as experienced in making video's back then. Glad to hear they are still very opportune though.

11:17 - you say weight time score, but then how do you get these numbers which are in your table, for S&W in option 3 how did you get 9? You say the weight times the score no ? (so you did 35 * 0.2 = 9)

O yes, could be. They are just illustrative. Message is: 'weight times score' is always the best.
