I love how zero gravity should have no effect on a watch band made to fit snug on his wrist tight ,And also I wonder which time zone he's in or on , and why it's not ever-changing in the case of the speed in which they say the station is travelling , If the watch is not accurate , why wear it ? Another attempt to legitimize and promote big lies , If the watch fits , wear it .
@rlg_1230
@rlg_1230 3 года назад
@@williamholt2429 firstly he is clearly not wearing his watch tightly, and that is clear when he talks with other astronauts in other videos who are also wearing watches but wearign them tightly, secondly they use the GMT timezone, because they complete 16 orbits a day and cant obv rely on whichever time zone they're flying above, the watches are fixed on the gmt time zone. i just wanna ask you, why the hell do you think people would lie about the space's existence? isnt that the most useless lie ever? go fix your flat earth mind and grab a telescope and when the iss flies over your house, zoom in on it, lots of people have done it before, spotthestation.nasa.gov/tracking_map.cfm use this to track the iss, stop tryna make urself look stupider, it's not gonna help u out, look up how many people have proven to you that the earth is not flat, and that space exists, with science AND physical proof, go get a life and stop accusing people of lying to you about the shape of the earth, its literally the most useless lie anyone can tell, i cant believe that people literally gave their lives for the sake of science and humanity while trying to go TO space and black FROM it, and then there are people like you who try to have them remembered in disgrace as liars, you clearly have also not watched a rocket go into space when its literally physical and u can literally go and see it, wtf is wrong with you.

The CSA has been a HUGE part of space exploration, but until Commander Hadfield came on to the scene, the achievements had the quite modesty that Canada is known for. He is the perfect ambassador to let the world know more about what Canadian engineers, scientists and aerospace people have contributed. There could not have been a better person to be on our $5 bill. On that note, he could be on something with a higher denomination 🙂

Think about sitting in an office chair on a really slippery floor. You can move your body around and get the chair to move around, but the chair will return to it's original position when you sit upright again (ok, maybe not perfect but that's because of friction). What you can't is move out of the center of the room without pushing off of something outside of the chair. That's the difference between internal and external forces, and him pushing off is an "internal" force.

@Vousie

It's video as well. He demonstrates things to them every now and then, and sometimes at the start/end of the video they show the setup at the uni/school and it shows the video of him on a big projector. So other than a rather large delay it's like a normal video call for them.

if the internet connection is very slow, how are you speaking live from space in hd ?
@trod146
@trod146 5 лет назад
Because you only need a good connection for the 20 minutes they get it at a time. They orbit once every 90 minutes and for about half of that they get good internet and the other half they get slow or no internet. He is only transmitting his audio/video and receiving audio no video. So it's not that difficult. You really don't need much to transmit data like this, he also even talks about it here about how they have very high bitrate connections that allow for Twitter and voice chat and that by using relays through ground stations and sattelites and such they can transmit data like this live feed which is why they are able to do these live events once in a while for 10 to 20 minutes which is as long as they are in range of the ground stations like Houston.

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. It's not about following the law - perfectly, as it's impossible - it's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER. Regardless of what you've done or what you're going through you CAN make it through Jesus. If you have any questions let me know x
