This song came out when I was 9. I’m now 32 with a five year old daughter and this song brings tears to my eyes every single time I hear it.

This song was the first song me and my boys heard on the radio when their daddy died in a car wreck on Good Friday April 18, 2000. We had never heard it before but when it came on it was like it was their daddy talking to them. I cried my heart out and this song has always been special to my family and it always will and to have Chris Stapleton sing with his wife as LeeAnn's sweet voice is so special because my son's love Chris so much. It's like it was meant to be after all these years!!!

If this isn’t the perfect father-daughter wedding dance version of this song, I don’t know what is.

I know this song was written for daughters, but as a mom of 2 boys this song resonates greatly and makes me tear up everytime I hear it. We all hope our children dance thru this crazy life with kindness, confidence, and hope.
