I’ve seen him in concert 3 times and he is, by far, the best singer I’ve heard live. He sounds better live then he does on a recording! If you ever get a chance to go to his concert, do it!!
@@stevie.knight yessir, he had just made Tennessee Whiskey before it blew up and no one knew who he was. Some people there actually thought he was bad and would never go anywhere😂
That boy has some soul that comes from deep inside. I agree completely! Tennessee whiskey will be his demon LOL because he can never top that. Just the way it goes sometimes. But I'm with you, that don't mean this is an amazing
Crooked I - Struggle. I don't know how to motivate you to do it but all the songs you've reviewed that crook is in so far are nothing compared to this. Crook the best to ever do it.
Yo Stevie, he dropped one 2 months ago called "Cold". And it's way harder than this, wouldn't put much of anything next to Tennessee Whiskey, but its close though. He Sangin "Cold" though, it's more soulful sounding! Please do next, love yo vidz!
If you didn't know, Chris was in a band before he went solo. It was called "The Steeldrivers" - lots of songs to react to, but i'd suggest Midnight Train to Memphis
Tennessee Whiskey isn't even in my top 10-15 of his songs honestly......there are so many that speak to me. I can only think of a couple songs I don't like at all and I have ALL his stuff. Steeldrivers, Jompson and all his own stuff as well. He is a generational talent.
Love this song by CS. I can't decide if I like it more than Tennessee whiskey. TW is a great song and Chris makes it his own but it's still a cover, whereas Chris wrote (maybe co-wrote) the lyrics to this song so it's his. And this is just gritty, dirty bluesy country. Tw lyrically sounds like something Chris would/did write because he likes to write about whiskey in a compare and or contrast way. But Whiskey sunrise reminds me of all the rock/blues/ country drinking songs of my younger years in the military, this was a bar sing-along that would bring the roof down.
I had no idea he had released a new album and I’m a heavy Chris Stapleton fan. I’ve been slacking! Appreciate this reaction to put me on it 👊🏼 Edit: this makes me miss sang’n sundays we need more of this sh*t for real I agree it’s nowhere as good as Tennessee whiskey also.
All of his new music is on RU-vid. The album is called Starting Over..he performed that at the CMA's. The early popular one was called Cold. Devil is gonna watch you burn is good. Maggy's Song is good. You should probably leave is good. Alot of reactions to his new stuff already
The guitar in this is a lot better but I love just about everything he does. I am working on the I was wrong with my guitar teacher. No matter how long it is taking me I never get tired of practicing and listening to the guitar in I was Wrong.
Gotta react to Jack Savoretti "Breaking the Rules" (Live Acoustic)ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4IiKSBkLsBM.html Vocals like Mr. Stapleton, Stank face performance!!!!!!
Try Marcus King again - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Bk1EtdXCDnY.html Wildflowers and wine is the song Chris is one of my favorites too; great reactions - keep it up!
