The sad thing about the Not-Blofeld bit is that Jon Voight as Blofeld would actually be pretty awesome. Oh wait, that was the first Mission Impossible movie. Never mind.
Fun how the most recent thing I’ve seen this Ethan guy in was Moon knight and he was pretty intimidating in the way his character persuaded people 😅 Also about the accent: not everyone from Bulgaria has the accent, there’s a regional thing and also if you live somewhere for a while, the accent becomes less pronounced 😅 so I personally have no issue with this
One small thing: Ethan Hawke is supposed to be a racecar driver but the movie shows him braking with his right foot. When racing you're supposed to brake with your left foot as it allows you to be back on the accelerator much more quickly
It depends. Paddle shift transmissions like Formula One usually use left foot braking (like a go-kart, with some exceptions like Rubens Barrichello), however H-pattern manual transmissions (like older Group A touring cars, V8 Supercars or NASCAR) usually use right foot braking. If the H-pattern manual has dog ring engagement instead of the synchromesh (of a road car), it is technically possible to shift without using the clutch and therefore left foot brake exclusively, but you tend to find a mixture of preferences. Onboard with Mark Skaife, right foot braking, H-pattern manual: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d2cP0kz3xIo.html Onboard with Pedro de la Rosa, left foot braking, paddle shift: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ut7yehpQjac.html Most drivers in a H-pattern manual series will use right foot braking, to allow for left foot clutch engagement (even though you don't *have to* use the clutch it is still a good idea, especially for downshifts and across the gate shifts)... The left foot can still be brought across to trail brake up to the apex of the corner to help rotation. Since there is less overlap of throttle and brake with right foot braking this can also be useful to reduce fuel usage -- in series that have refuelling strategy this can be a benefit (reducing pitstop times, increases laps per tank etc). For reference, Formula One cars have a hand clutch, however paddle shift GT racing cars still use a foot clutch which needs to be operated with the left foot to take off from stationary.
@@3Guys1Video Everybody does in America unless you live in England or somewhere foreign? Brake and gas supposed to be right foot only.in a stick shift you use your left foot for the clutch
I was going to watch The World's End with a bunch of friends, turns out the movie was PG-15 and some of us had forgot our ids and the cinema guy was being a prick, so we were forced to watch this. I don't think more needs to be said
I was really surprised to see Rebecca Budig turn up in this. She's primarily a daytime soap opera actress-- was on "Guiding Light," "All My Children," and currently "General Hospital."
Given your reaction to this film being directed by Courtney Solomon, I'd love to see how you react to "An American Haunting", a horror film that he directed, co-produced, and wrote. It was released a few years between "Dungeons & Dragons" and "Getaway" and served as an example of him shitting on the horror genre in general and specifically on a novel based on the legend of the Bell Witch. It says a lot about his directing skill that within a 17-year period of time, he only directed three films and wrote only one, according to his Wikipedia page, anyway (and according to said page, he hasn't directed a film since 2013 or written a film since 2005). He's been an active producer, though; one film he's reportedly producing is a new D&D film.
Next time, we'll see what happens when you take one of the funniest people in the world and take away his ability to be funny. Answer: A thousand words.
Not all bulgarians have bulgarian accents you know? But in the rest you're right, specially in the stupidity of the 911 call, in Bulgaria the emergency number is 112.
It’s like how not all british people sound posh like the queen or have the annoying cockney or Liverpool (the one Cheryl has) accent😅 yet the media depicts us as such 2020
11:20-13:20 = Do more of these!!! That was very funny and it's a great idea. Shows like Cinema Sins expose all these flaws in films, but no one (except maybe HISHE) really exploits these flaws. It's comedy gold.
Fun Fact: The crash they show when they are talking about his NASCAR career, that crash actually happened, but if you look at the car with an #84 on it that flew into the air, that car has never existed. So they bascially took the footage and edited it, Here's the crash 2011 Clint Bowyer Joey Logano HARD Crash NNS 5-Hour Energy 200,Dover
You know the really annoying thing about her talking about Brent stealing? The reason she doesn't steal has fuck all to do with her education, as she living with her rich parents who are clearly the ones paying for stuff like her car. And yet, giving her hacking ability, it's pretty clear she's doing illegal shit anyway.
I like the idea of coming up with names for unnamed characters in bad stories(à la Jeffrey Cuddletrousers from Hatred). I hereby dub "The Voice" Fimblecluck Bumblefrep.
I’m amazed that they put Selena Gomez in Bulgaria. the film surprised me. If you’re an Hispanic actress you know you’re going to be cast as the whore, the thief, the waiter, the crop picker or the human trafficking slave. But this movie cast a Mexican actress, put her in a hoodie, gave her a gun and made her Bulgarian. Mind blown
Question: why did they even pick *Bulgaria* of all places for this? I understand it’d be cheaper to film there, like people using Toronto as a stand-in for New York or Chicago, but that’s not the same thing. Why set the movie in Bulgaria when it hardly factors into ANYTHING plot-wise; you could’ve just as easily set this in Paris, Moscow, Rome, Chicago, Toronto, Dubai, literally any major city and just change two or three lines!
The thing about the accent... That's a bit bullshit. I mean, I know a lot of people with thick accents but also plenty who have none, myself included. In fact, a few times I've been asked if I'm american. Being foreign does not necessarily mean your English will be utter garbage.
wow, this video was awesome! seriously, i can't stop watching it, by far one of your bests! This movie really looks like a bad "gta" adaptation directed by the same guy who did "d&d", and about selina's magic ipad... hum... "watchdogs"?
Well...Watch Dogs tech is about the "software" not the iphone/ipad or whatever. This movie is not even trying, they just put "magical ipad" for lazy writing.
I recently saw two atrocious new werewolf movies, "Late Phases" and "Wer." Both had some good aspects, but were real let downs, especially the design and execution of the creatures… Check those out, might be good for one of your reviews!
Surprise! Surprise! that this was the last Dark Castle Entertainment film to be released by Warner Bros., as Universal Studios took Dark Castle over in 2013.
Thanks for pointing out how many plotholes this film has. Honestly, I didn't notice half of them since it was so boring I was trying to stay awake. Definitely one of the worst films in my memory.
Compare to Uwe Boll and Twilight films, with Space Thunder Kids the lack of continuity and consistency and the plagiarism takes it to 11. When I watch Uwe Boll and the Twilight films I wonder is there a movie that is far more worse and then I watch Space Thunder Kids.
my chevy cruze has an onboard phone line. You get to pay by the minute but its there. Power plants typically have huge buildings where the power is generated. What is shown is a transmission substation that wouldn't have any building necessary to blow up the "station". Even if it were a power plant, they have staff on site at all hours monitoring the generators. Sooo theres that.
Didn't Ethan McDriver throw her phone out of the window, and then a few minutes later she uses her phone? And why do the motorcycles have red LED strips over them? Easy identification?
30:07-Selena Gomez was actually nominated for Worst Actress, but either way, the movie sucks and your review is super awesome. I almost was gonna see the movie in theaters, but I'm glad I didn't. Can't wait to see your next review! ;)
I paused at 16:28 and you seem to be staring into our souls...and all I can think is "Whoa" (in Keanu Reeves' voice) Anyway, I saw this movie, hoping for the best. I like Ethan Hawke and a lot of his movies. But yeah, this was bad. Selena Gomez may have a history in films (it's Hollywood, weirder things have happened), but I am willing to bet she does not put this one on her resume
I knew I recognised not Blofeld voice....it's the fingerless badguy in Jack Reacheround! Edit: if that's a porn parody, that's not what I'm referencing. Or am I?
