Hi, I have a similar fault with my car, its a citroen c4 grand Picasso 2010 with automatic gearbox, when I change the gear from the gear selector, it stuck on 4 , I replaced the gear selector with is fitted on the top steering column, but didn't make and difference, not sure if mine has the same fault as yours or the automatic gearbox has gone, maybe gearbox ecu, any help would be appreciated, thank you
Hello, my 2009 Citroen grand Picasso semiautomatic. I get a message "Gearbox faulty" When i move the gear lever, nothing happened, it does not go to "'D" , it stays on "N" and sometimes the car does not start, and other times it starts. The OBD II says "Manufacturer Controlled Transmission. Code P 1834" what do you think the problem is?

Hi. Just hoping you or one of your watchers can help me. I have an 07 plate C4 auto. Every time i put into R or auto the gears go in but then instantly they go back into neutral. If i put it manual it goes into 1 then again goes into neutral. Can you or anybody help me sort this problem please. Thanks. ..Jim.
Hello Brandmate. This is the car, this is the vintage and this is the problem. Did you find any reassuring solution? I checked the power supply, the ground points, the connections, I replaced the sensors with other used sensors, I haven't found the fault so far. Cheers András
@@bandita84 Hi I still have not got my C4 semi-automatic gearbox working it used to go into gear then suddenly go back into neutral. I have changed the gearbox actuator & the ecu with the same matching numbers of mine. Now I can't evan get the gears to move into gear at all. Can you help me. The OBD is saying blown fuse but they have all been replaced with new fuses and are all working. Also the code number is saying incorrect gear selecter position something or other. Can you or anybody please advise me with any help. Best regards. Jim.
@@jamesbrookes6298 Hi Jim. You need a LEXIA DIAG-BOX to teach you the new unit for the car (grid programming, clutch grip, and shifting while driving) Once you do the first two, it can work. There is a separate fuse for the switching computer and a separate fuse for the pump. Could the new computer be faulty? Put your old one back on it will rarely deteriorate. Anyway, I have the error code p1755 but it's been a long time since the clutch was replaced and I've been driving it 160000km with no error. He's crazy now. Let’s swap a relationship and somehow solve both of us’s troubles. cheers András
@@bandita84 Hi thanks for getting back to me so quick. My friend with the computer has tried things & not been able to sort it but I have no clue about the computer thing he's using if it was a 1990's car I could of fixed it months ago but I don't know anything about these computer OBD thingy majig typ of cars. This is why I've asked for any help I can get to help me get this car working. I will try my old actuator again when I can but I have to wait for dry weather as I don't have anywhere but outside for my car. il put it back on when it's dry outside & see what happens then & let you know..
