In this scene Clark and Chloe talk about many things in the season 5 episode 3, titled Hidden. The song that is used in this scene is by David Gray called Disappearing World.
I can relate soo hard with chloe's character.....its because you love that person sooooo much, you can tell they do also love you,,... but not on the same level, you can littrally feel their love for that person coming off them cuz its the same as yours, everyone thinks youed be perfect together........even them themselve, and you wish either you didnt feel the way you did or they felt the same........but you were both just ment to be best friends......
Well, to be fair, they do make out with each other alot throughout the series. Would've liked to see these 2 paired up one of the hundred times that Clark and Lana break up. Imagine this if you will. Clark and Lana break up. That night, Chloe comes to the farm and finds Clark in the barn. She tells him that she heard about what happened with Lana. Clark tells her that he knows in his heart that it was the right thing to happen, and there's a reason why he knows that. Chloe turns to him slowly, asks him what he's convinced that reason might be. That's when Clark kisses her, and lays her down in the hay, her legs around his waist. After some rolling around, their clothes is now all over the barn. Slow zoom on Clark's face hovering just inches above Chloe's. Suddenly, you see Clark thrust and Chloe gasps before she starts passionately moaning. Fade away, and fade back to them laying side by side, Chloe wrapped in Clark's arms. They kiss, and Clark tells her that if little miss investigative reporter needs to do some more fact checking, he'd be happy to elaborate. That would probably be too much for Smallville, even though it can work if shot right, just like the Cloois sex scenes were.
This scene is one of my favorites. When Chloe touches his abdomen Clark looked at her and the look in his eyes to me seemed like he wanted it more. Lol :) Yes Clark said that he didn't feel romantically connected to her but I disagree. Mark my words had Lois or Lana not been in the picture Clark would have pursued Chloe in a heartbeat. The Lana storyline got dragged out way too much!
Got to say the series was great. But man they did a awesome job picking the right music for scenes like this. Really makes it so much better and memorable.
Chloe was always my favorite of the 3 main women in his life. Of Lana who is so helpless, Chloe and Louis, Chloe has the longest history with Clark, the genuine friendship, and she's the most resourceful. Louis is resourceful in a sexy seducing way, but Chloe has the instincts and the ingenuity to get out of tight situations.
I love Alisons character chloe and especially how she so sefless and pratically gives up alot of her dreams to be there for clark as friend. Her character is a good hero. I honestly never had people look to me before and when it happend it suprised me. Because i guess to see someone try to be like me was wierd at first. But im learning to trust others even thought they lied to me and i knew. I knew if they wanted to talk about it they would. Its not trust if u ask someone to explain themselfs :)
This just proves for the...I've lost count how many times that they are perfect together. I mean, I know all about the canon love interests, but can't they just give Chloe a little more time together with Clark? All she had was like that one episode in season one. Good old days.
its sad to see how much Chloe loves Clark but ultimately you see the love triangle and how destiny can be a b*tch. Chloe loves Clark who loves Lana who's not meant for him -- because DESTINY ( and the comics ) show that he ( Clark ) is meant for Lois! Chloe shows in season 4 ( Devoted ) - a spiked football drink reveals that she ( Chloe ) has never really stopped caring for him but she knows he doesn't feel the same. Poor Chloe !
maxpayne2424 Again, no matter how much you re-imagine an established and enduring story, there are some things you DON'T just change. Lex will always be Superman's nemesis and Lois will always be his love. So what if it was there because of the mythos? The actors had superb chemistry with each other and they didn't even start dating as soon as Season 8 began. The show is about Clark Kent before he became Superman for crying out loud. Of course they'd line many elements of the show to Superman's story especially in the later seasons as he edged towards taking up the mantle of Superman. Spare me the crap about how Lois and Clark's relationship was forced in late seasons to line with the story of Superman. Considering the countless references to that relationship from the moment Lois arrived in Smallville, I'd say it was planned from the start. In fact, the only reason it didn't begin earlier was because DC disallowed it until after Season 6 because of the impending release of 'Superman Returns'. There doesn't have to be a follow up show before it counts as a prequel. It may have been a reimagined story but it's still a prequel to the Superman comics. The fact is, if Clark had ended up with anyone other than Lois, way more people like you would be complaining years after the show ended so please...
maxpayne2424 Yeah, you keep telling yourself that it's an entirely different universe that has nothing to do with the comics even though it's based on a comic book character and his journey in becoming a hero. Those references were placed there to foreshadow what had been planned from the start. My goodness! How exactly do you "act upon" or "give a second thought" to a reference? Also, keep telling yourself that writers can change important elements of a long standing when they have NO reason to. Keep convincing yourself that he should have ended up with either Chloe or Lana because they were the first two girls that showed him romantic attention. Whatever floats your boat, man.
maxpayne2424 Okay. Now you're just spewing rubbish. Did you genuinely expect Clark to start working at the Daily Planet when he was 14? Because believe it or not, from Seasons 1-7, he was between 14 and 21 years of age. A newspaper remains the best place for him to work as no one would question his appearances in dangerous areas or disappearances. So yes, he began working there. Him not working there earlier has nothing to do with a modern setting. As I said, the show began to line up with mythos as he edged towards being Superman and there is NOTHING wrong with that as much as you'd like to believe there is. Lana leaving, believing that their toxic relationship was holding him back eventually pushed him to think about the job application Lois gave him and led to him trying to make a mark in Metropolis. When his identity as a hero was almost compromised, of course he took up a secret identity as he couldn't protect people he cared about while simultaneously saving the city as Clark Kent. That is a fact. Lord knows when a dual identity for a hero became "shit we've grown used to." Again, him not taking up a secret identity earlier has NOTHING to do with a modern setting. Many Superboy stories portrayed him and Lex Luthor being friends. Admittedly, Lex finding out Clark's secret was a long time coming within the show but the fact is, even if Rosenbaum had extended his contract beyond Season 7, they would have found a way for him to lose that information. Lex Luthor refusing to believe a god-like being will dwell amongst humans as one of them is an important part of his character and his relationship with Superman and if he knew his true identity, he'd stop at nothing to make him miserable. So what if Clark and Lois had less to do with each other in Season 7? The times they shared together showed how much they cared for each other. It should be noted that Chloe was in a relationship of her own by this time. Are you trying to tell me that we are involved with the same people throughout our lives without new ones coming in and feelings changing towards others? The writers had an idea of the direction they wanted the series to go. Obviously, changes along the line would cause them to alter some of their plans. You must be naïve to think that producers of most shows have an EXACT picture of what they want to do with a show and follow that formula to the letter.

However, whatever direction the show had gone, there was no way Lex was going to retain his memory of Clark's identity permanently. Heroes without secret identities are few and far between because it's well established that people they love would get hurt if their enemies knew who they were. What do you suggest? That he should have just exposed himself to the world? In the name of a "Modern setting"? Even 'Man of Steel' with all its emphasis on realism and modernism had Clark Kent working at the Daily Planet at the end, without prior experience, complete with a secret identity that wasn't public knowledge. Believe it or not, who you think you'll end up with isn't who you eventually end up with. Spider-Man had Betty Brant, Debra Whitman, Gwen Stacy and the Black Cat but ended up with neither. Yes, people would've been pissed because straying that far from Superman's story is desecration. Why should he have ended up with anyone else in a bid for it to be "it's own show"? So you're suggesting that Lex should have retained his memory of Clark's identity? For what reason? I'm really curious to hear what you have to say about it because so far all you've done is ignore it. Go on and explain how Lex's knowledge of his identity betters his story. When exactly was he recognised as the best reporter in the world? You're talking about things making sense? Because Chloe hacking the DDS in minutes is realistic, amongst other things. Of course, every show mixes realism and fantasy but I'll be damned if Smallville didn't have more of the latter throughout its entire run. If you knew the least bit about Superman, you'd know that his disguise is more than just about glasses and why he can't just wear a mask. Your opinion about Man of Steel remains just that. ;) Angry with the original Superman's rendition of his secret identity, angry with Smallville's, angry with Man of Steel's as well. I love the part about being the only one who knew his secret. In "Smallville", it seemed like everyone knew his secret. In the Superboy comics, obviously Ma and Pa kent knew. And Pete knew. Later Bruce Wayne knew as he was an early boy version of Batman. But in Smallville, almost every villain knew half of everyone who knew him knew.

It's sad what Alison Mack has gotten herself into! The possibility of 40 years in prison! I hoped she was as smart as her character was on "Smallville". I liked her acting very much.
Very true. She forever stained the character of Chloe. Her character has a lot of potential.. Especially now that they are doing multiverses. :( I always hoped to see her in panels, comic cons, and cameos in new series. She was my fave character. Sad. :(
You can't help who you love. Unfortunately for Chloe, Clark just was never completely into her like that. I'm glad they stayed friends personally. He really needed her through those years.
Like Rey and Finn, these two are screaming out to be together. In both cases, fanfiction has served them far better. There are some well written stories out there too!
I kinda agree with Clark. Saying he's go powers, ok Lana could live with that. Saying he's an alien, maybe. She's been attacked by aliens so her fear induced Racism might put her reaction on the see saw. But here's the thing, his arrival on Earth was on the same day the meteor shower hit Smallville. While obvious since he was a kid and didn't mean to his arrival cost her the life of her parents. It's not like he could say "Oh hey Lana, I'm a superpowered alien of the same race that tried to kill you twice, Oh and by the way I may have accidentally killed your parents." Hell Wrath may not have said it out loud, but she took a lot of resentment out on him for it.

As much as I love Erica Durance, Alison Mack should've eventually been Lois Lane. They should've used Chloe taking the Lois Lane penn name plot line and materialized it.
It would have been fine if they had to make her go into hiding at some point. She's still related to Sam Lane and she could have been Lucy's adopted older sister.
Chloe was so gorgeous! I had hoped they were gonna have some kind of thing when the FBI situation had happened that Chloe would have to assume a new identity, thereby becoming Lois Lane...
That's because it's the tone. With Sullivan, her tone ranges from, cute, to curious, to excited to sadness depending on her mood. With Lana Lang on the other-hand, there's sadness, resentment, jealousy and condescension. Funnily enough they are both great actresses, so even if they didn't want people to love or hate them, they did a pretty good job invoking those emotions from the viewer.

This scene is exactly why I don’t count the Crisis appearance as canon! It made no sense with what they established in Smallville! They only got Tom and Erica back to help bump up the ratings!
I have always loved this series but I have noticed through the seasons that the writers seemed to concentrate more on developing the history that made the legend. The characters were all well developed but seemed to become 2 sided as the series progressed. I will surely miss my CW fridays. No Smalleville and No Supernatural :X
I have never seen Clark so devastated like he is in this show, well except when Lana died! but the point is, just knowing how it is to have an open relation with her and then be denied or pulling it out from under his feet,,, it was harder on him than to ever taste her and be with her like he wants and then being ripped from it! I can totally feel for him but as Chloe said, he should have given her the choice! and she did not fail him, did she;)?
Analizing this Scene Funny how in Life when you take the word - Mistake - and separate with - Miss Take - the word suddenly has a new meaning and it all makes so much sense When you make mistakes it means you just took - take - a wrong path - missing - that doesn't mean you were dumb, it means you Missed taking a Good Path - did you see what i did there - So everytime you make a mistake just think on the concept of chossing wrong, don't think on yourself as You Being Dumb. Yet he told her in reckoning and she accepted him just the way he is...Clark loved Lana....He fell in love with her all over again even with amnesia. He didn't tell anyone his secret outright either with the exception of Pete...Everyone else found out on their own or through someone else so going by YOUR logic Clark didn't love or trust them enough either.
