Clark Kent's Powers - Invulnerability -- (Smallville - S2; E9-15) 

I love how the guy on the bridge is just genuinely confused at all the laws of physics Clark just ignored.

His powers also include the ability to fall faster than gravity and the ability to negate the force of impact of other objects.

I like how the guy at the beginning just throws his hands up like "dude what the hell?"

considering this around 2001-2002 compared to the CGI currently on tv this holds up pretty well

Love the fact that he still wears a helmet to ride the bike even tho he's completely invulnerable :)

The CGI in this show was absolutely amazing for its time

Damm Tom Welling was so young in 2nd season but this is my favourite TV series till now and it really got beautiful memories specially from season 1-4 a.k.a when they was in high school 🏫...and no one can match the level of Smallville ❤️

I never really understood why Clark was afraid of heights since he seems to always fall in Smallville (whether literally or for a girl) and even when he ingested a powdered kryptonite he didn’t break his neck when he passed out and fell

What I loved about this show was the fact that the consistency in how Kent learns to use his powers over time was parallel to his age and experiences through out the show😭. This was season 2 so him just falling like that instead of landing is so funny but so true to Clark Kent for his age where he is non experienced and just doing what he can manage to save people. Even the fall was so ungraceful but who cares? As long as he saved someone. (Now as to why he fell faster or why he took her back to the same place HER ASSAILANT WAS is beyond me. I can't use non experience to justify that. That was just a Flash from the show move💀)

The amount of amnesia in this show is amazing

I suspect that being rugby-tackled by someone who is (a) invulnerable, and (b) has just overtaken several bullets to get there, is probably worse than just taking your luck with the bullets.

How did the lady playing the Native American not become a huge star, she was off the charts stunning

The director was really good with the action and special effects, for the kids: this is special effects and not cgi, well, its a mix and thats why they look so good today

I loved this series. This actor played Clark perf and when he finally flew, one of the best scenes in television!

Theodore Sturgeon once wrote an entire piece about Superman and ejaculation. Yes, that kind of ejaculation. Since it is not really controlled at the point of happening and the typical male might cover a distance of three feet and Superman is so much stronger, Sturgeon theorized that super semen might actually achieve orbital velocity. Pity the poor receptacle on the receiving of that spurt. In the movie Hancock, there was a deleted scene where a woman goes home with Hancock and she proceeds to "thank him". At the last second he pushes her away and he blasts a few holes in his Airstream trailer's roof.

Clark didn't need to save him. Stefan salvatore would have been fine.

Good thing I watched this when I was much younger. I can't appreciate this kind of CGI today as much as I used to.

Clark may be invulnerable but how do you explain his clothing? Also, the gas tank on a car is lower than where the bullet struck and bullets usually don't cause cars to explode.

His powers also include reducing the acceleration of a body as a "whole", else the woman's back would have still be broken for the height she fell.

Why does Clark even wear a helmet? If he slams into a building it is more likely for the building to collapse than him being injured.

2:41 when you realize Smallville Clark not even at his full potential could react to an explosion faster than Cavill Superman

I love how Clark, serial superspeed user and secret identity haver, superspeeds to the ground to catch the falling girl, then takes the time to tenderly lay her down on the ground and cover her with his body so the giant boulder breaks over his back, rather than just moving out of the way. Even I could have dodged that without superspeed.

Always love Smallville I like the Lana that they had towards the end of the series much better than the first one

I like how he is able to hit with enough force to bend that metal bar

The only thing I can figure is, that Clark moves so fast, that he's able to quickly cushion her fall when he catches her. Not sure if it could work that way, but if it could, that would be what he's doing.

That first one of Going to the bottom to catch her is the funniest, silliest thing because instead of her whole body hitting a pile of leaves, she now smacks two bits of her spine into the “Man of Steel”

At 0:17 Clark looks right into the bad guys eyes. I expected he would hit him in the face with a shot of heat ray vision. I know "Little Hercules Superboy" would have done that!!!! Lol!!!

She would not be alive, the amount of force he applied to stop her fall is still to strong. She would be dead unless she was slowing down to or in a position differnt from that one applying equal distribution through out her body so energy can be exerted in a safe way(so her insides wont squash down to a soup to.
