Smallville, Clarks personality changes when he comes in contact with Red Kryptonite not for the better, the longer he's in contact the more dangerous he becomes
I mean yea pretty much,both the symbiote and Red Kryptonite have the same effect of bringing out the darker part of the person (or kryptonian in natural Red K's case).It's also similar to Black Kryptonite but not quite as much as Black Kryptonite splits someone's good and evil personality.
@@fatalxdecaay2817 The symbiote has no effect on anyone's personality. That's just Hollywood BS in the movies and possible other media I'm unaware of. In the comics the symbiote simply leeched off Peter's energy and took him out for nightly "rides" while Peter was sleeping (he was web swinging, walking & jumping in his sleep) and frequently overslept and was exhausted during the day as a result. It wasn't until it bonded with Eddie Brock that it started communicating with its host and even then it didn't change Eddie's personality, it just plotted with him to kill Spider-Man due to their mutual hatred of him (tried to kill him anyway for a while until Spider-Man stopped being such a target and Venom moved on to other things). The Carnage symbiote is the same. It doesn't amp up the insanity that is already in Cletus Kasady, it just gives him the power to live out his anarchy and raise the bodycount to beyond his previous symbiote-less serial killer levels. It's a shame Hollywood has to bastardize things and can't get it aligned with the actual canon. In Smallville black-k splits someone between their nature & nurture sides, not necessarily good & evil. For Clark, he didn't have any evil side so it was his natural Clark Kent side and his Kal-El side that was a product of the brainwashing by Jor-El in the cave wall. So I guess the Kal-El side was his nurture side or perhaps his alien side is his nature side and his nurture side is Clark as the Kents raised him. With Lex it was similar with his nature side being just regular Lex Luthor who wanted to do good for the world (like he showed in the flashback scenes in Reunion when he & Duncan were talking about their respective futures) and his nurture side being the side Lionel Luthor brought out by his evil nurturing all those years.
What's interesting is... as Clark wears the ring more and more, especially when he KNOWS what it is - he has some measure of control of the effects. ... Also the original Superman music score is great.

On top of that it's a new type of meteor rock. The government would probably want to run tests to see the differences between the green and red. Making it even more valuable than green.
That would probably be if it was more scarce like in other stories. But since you can pretty much find it anywhere in Smallville, it's likely not that valuable.
Because he carried a piece of it around with him for years. Kryptonite is still radioactive, even if it only affects Superman instantly, it can do the same to humans with prolonged exposure.
