I feel like any friendship with Cena would be underrated just because of how hostile the smarks still are with him. I'd love to be friends with John Cena, he seems like an awesome one to have.

AEW references history and beef from just about every wrestling company. It only goes viral when it's WWE though. If anything it's weird for WWE to pretend like other wrestling companies DONT exist especially when it can add to a story but that's the way WWE has been doing it for so long that people have just gotten used to it

All he was doing was referencing wwe because he can't create an original story with aew characters. He only has the ability to use the past because he has nothing else. Funny thing is, they were enemies in kayfabe but Punk and Cena were known for being very good friends behind the scenes. That explains why they always had such good chemistry whenever they wrestled. They never once put on a bad match.
