Dr Paul. What do you think of infants who attend day care. They are exposed to English at daycare and to the native language at home. Could this delay language inquisition?

It can lead to what appears to be a delay in language acquisition. A toddler should know about 50 meaningful words, regardless of language. If they know 25 in English and 30 in Spanish, that's fine. If they only know 25 in English and only 10 in Spanish, that's a language delay.
