OCD Illustrated I'd like the say thank you! for making this video because I struggle with this! I alway's think if someone does not look at me at a certain time that means they hate me, or change in plans that they told me they were gonna meet me somewhere, and didn't. I'll instantly think they hate me! Sometimes if someone like I mentioned doesn't look at me or talk to me right away I'll think they hate me or I'll think another person hates me, so if this person lets say Ellie doesn't look at me or talk to me that means Josie hates me. My therapist told me I totally have this, and I agree, but It's hard to think differently, and it gets exhausting, and ruins relationships because then I'll avoid the person when really they probably don't even hate me!
OCD Illustrated I also had a friend of mine leave the room without saying goodbye, and I instantly thought they don't like me or talking to me, and also with teachers if a teacher says Hi to 5 other students, and not me. I'll be upset, and feel left out
Good video explaining what it is and even the additional example about your boss yelling at someone else and how it feels about you. I think inwould like this video better if you gave examples to help us remove this irrational way of thinking from our system. Thank you
