Yea I like them, you are essentially paying for 2 rifle squads for 1 really good squad. And them being expensive keeps them as an augment to your force rather than the mainline. Obviously if the game goes long enough you may have a full team of only rangers.
I feel like I watch all of your videos, this type of stuff is by the most valuable-it would be awesome if you could do a video a day or two after each patch going over stuff that’s not working and impressions

Maybe a hybrid is possible where you cast a game right after patch and mention the changes to units or gameplay as it unfolds; maybe tangentially referencing what players could’ve alternatively done given the patch changes. Ya know, pretty much what you already do, lol! I’m asking for a little more emphasis on stuff like the USF cache that was over-performing before this minor tuning patch-I had no idea, and most players are probably in my boat outside of top tier players such as yourself.
These are so great to watch in the sandbox football field style. One note - your video says its version 1.42 but it's 1.4.2 which right now is such a minor thing but in 2027, when Relic releases version 1.42.0, it'll be confusing :) Also made it harder for me to find this video a second time cause I was searching for "COH3 1.4.2" :) Cheers.
I really think the officer should be a more support unit like its card is. Cause most of the time I see it being used as a front line unit and just spamming down strikes. Like compare it to the 254 tractor for DAK, it has a longer cooldown yes and only fires for a short time. While the officer can just deny that area for pretty much forever. The 254 you can hear it in the fog of war with its scans and sort of track it. While the officer you can press R and 90% of the time you can get it safely away. I also do hope they address late game bunker spam, cause I have had some late games with US fighting costal and it’s just so bad.
no it was intentional, I think they were experimenting with it but with the poor reception to it they're probably are going to change it back. I personally like it but I've noticed many people don't.
Yea, still OP artilery officer, thanks for normal price but when i have to retreat or repositione far enough BECAUSE ENEMY HAS FREE ARTILLERY that is not fair
I think the problem is that the Grants still suck in my opinion. That means your only AT is going to be team weapons or dumping munitions into flimsy crusaders. Would like the 6pdr upgrade to cost half the muni now that it doesn't really perform vs inf
