Cold Weather Truck Camping in Insulated Softopper! 

It's pretty cool for you to try asian drink and noodles that's dope af. People don't tend to open their food pallet.

I was waiting for you to talk about that heater homie lol it look like a nice one I never seen one like that one... I have a twin size electric heated sheet I plug into my solar battery when I'm camping in my no build caravan it only uses 25 watts on the low setting and it does not have an automatic shut off so you can sleep without waking up to turn it on and then I use an electric heater fan when I have shore power available one other thing I did though I bought these rechargeable hand warmers they are nice when you are first setting up in your sleeping bag you can use them on your feet or wherever you are cold! I really enjoyed the video I watched the Halloween video it was a good one too thank you... Almost forgot I was trying to think of ways to keep water from freezing also was thinking about getting one of those small aquarium heaters plugging it into the solar battery and dropping it into my water container I'm not sure how many watts one of those consumes they work on a thermostat though so they shouldn't continuously draw power

Liked the video with the exception to when you were cutting the onion and pepper. Use a rocking motion when cutting and a claw grip using your index, middle finger. and thumb so that the knife glides along the 2nd & 3rd knuckles acting as a guard while keeping the tips tucked in and the thumb pushes the item forward . I also recommend an 8 inch chef's knife, it will be bigger and have more weight which will help with cutting larger items like an onion.

Truck camped many times here in Northern Minnesota. I use a good candle in a metal coffee can all night. Works awesome with no fumes to worry about. Give it a try

you will always be warmer sleeping in a tent etc than in a vehicle, its a ice cube that never gets warm

The lighting in the 28th second of the video is so cool, and the heater in the video also feels great and can provide enough heat.

Your set up Looked comfy . I like the heater and the lighting inside , and that you could stretch out your legs to sleep . I’ve never seen a soft top for a pick up , so definitely cool . Considered lining my softopper with reflectix as well. Have you noticed it making condensation more of an issue? The normal cloth material of the topper tends to absorb most of it, figured the surface of the relflectix would condense and drip water easier. I actually bought a diesel heater to heat mine as it’s a drier heat than propane. I sit it outside the truck and pipe the heated air in through the front zipper on the topper. Avoids drilling any exhaust holes in my truck bed. I’d like a more stealth setup, but haven’t figured anything out yet.

Please tell me the state your camping in, if you don’t care. It has to be Ky, or Tn..somewhere in that area. My husband and I have went back and forth on it because of the surrounding hillside.

I can't drink that instant coffee it gives me heart burn so we drink folgers in a tea bag and 8t taste so much better and not so bitter.
