I’m experimenting with this pattern….i wanted a larger quilt WITHOUT adding blocks. I decided, instead of cutting the blocks 4.5” & I found that I could cut the blocks 5.5” & I will adjust the borders to compensate for the larger blocks. There are MANY of the quilts that you have made videos on, but this one is TRULY one of my favourites! Thank you for all of your hard work to create these videos

I love Donna's piecing tutorials but the thing I appreciate even more about your videos in particular is showing the machine quilting. Choosing the thread color and design is something you don't often find on other quilting tutorials, and watching that machine work it's magic is so mesmerizing! I am guilty of sometimes just skipping to the end to watch the quilting. Keep up the good work Jordan Fabrics! ❤️

The "give away" quilt reminds me of the sunflower supporting the Ukraine's efforts to remain a free country! Would be wonderful to win that! LOVE today's tutorial as I am an "addict" to William Morris fabrics! Thought it was going to be hard to make but Donna always works her "magic" and makes it simple to understand!

I am a "Newbie" to your RU-vid page I have watched 1 or 2 videos & just love your videos, you really are a great teacher & show just how easy it can be as long as you take the right steps. I have always wanted to make a quilt but knew I would end up with a disaster on my hands because I have no knowledge. This is one of the prettiest quilts that you have made! I am blown away at how it turned out because I was unimpressed at the choice of fabrics when this video first started. Boy, was I wrong! The pieced border really did the trick, changing a so-so quilt into a show- stopper! You are a master at paring fabric collections with quilt patterns. Thank you for sharing each week!

I ended up ordering two Best of Morris jelly rolls and some other coordinating fabric from your shop and made a 97” square queen quilt using this pattern. Because it’s a bed quilt and the pieced borders wouldn’t be seen well, I finished it with two simple borders. It’s just beautiful and everyone loves it. Thanks for the tutorial!

I thought this was way too complicated at first, but Donna made it so easy to follow, and it turns out I was scared of the secondary design that you only see once the blocks are combined! I love that it's all HSTs and strips in the end, will be ordering the design for my winter quilt making!

I’ve done two quilts (as a beginner) with the tube strip technique and they are really fun and easy! Donna has done tutorials on several of these patterns and they’re always so fun to watch and learn from.

The fabrics are amazing, colors perfect and the fabric patterns are so Art Nouveau - they remind me of Aubrey Beardsley's work. I never thought they would work together but they absolutely do - and the quilting pattern just added another dimension perfectly.
