You have become one of my role models. So elegant and articulate. I try to learn from you. My question/suggestion for a video is this. I've been recently shut down by an older gentleman because of age gap. We've been on three fantastic dates and slept together too which was also nice. I felt very heartbroken. There are a lot of advice videos telling men not to text the woman constantly because it comes across as clingy and smothering which women run from. Maybe that's why the complaing woman's man doesn't text back regularly. Just a thought.

People would do well to listen, watch or read about the five love languages. I found it to be helpful. Now if all people understood how to "speak" in another's love language things would be a bit easier. 😊

Hi Susan! I'm from Romania, watching you for quite a while and loving your speaking, advises, videos, and the way you treat the themes, from an objective psychological perspective. Still, there is one subject I haven't heard too much, or not at all. It's about meeting a potential partner for relationship that is deeply wounded from a previous relationship. So you find yourself in a new relationship with this person, as a sign that he/she enjoys your company, or he/she's feeling good with you, or seeing his/her future with you.... BUT!you strangely are facing constant manifestation of paranoia , traumas, and revenges for things you never done, but you could bet the previous partner done before you. You feel your partner has a trust issue due to these traumas, you would like to help, but he/she won't admit at all they have this issue, and the more you try, the worse they act. So what can we do in these situation? Where we consider the person we found has indeed potential, and worth the patience... how can we get through this stage of rage, traumas, feeling undervalued and not trusted...just because someone else screwed it before us, and hurt our partner that bad? Very well said Susan, but in my case the situations reversed! She isn't giving me a final closure and again she is silent ...I message her almost everyday but just not today...cause last week she asked for a coat online 200$.. and I had paid bills that Sunday and my limit for my card needed another day to be buy her the same coat which offended her say, love for men is action not words....where actions need to speak louder than words....and she stood silent for almost 2 weeks now!I even showed her receipts of my bills paid the same date...but she said her ex was same in that category where my intensions to her are pure and real!

Hi Susan I need your advise as I'm going through emotional pain I'm not sure if you remember me I commented once about my long distance bf and preemptive dump he did when we met .. and trying to contact me after I came back from meeting him ...going very mad at me at first then getting better ...we talking on and off ..you advised me to open up and tell him all and I did and he was happy to know all that and opened up as well and told me his situation and I told u that as well .. so we did talk for couple of days after .. he wanted to see me again but unfortunately ( I didn't tell him that but due to finances and other circumstances) I said not possible right away may be later because I was just there a month ago and we live in 2 different countries ... he ignored my text after that for few days I feel it was due to that reason because he is tired of his situation and want somebody there for him So he sent a weird text to me that saying oh sorry he just met someone yesterday and they clicked and now meeting for coffee next day and if it wasn't for the distance and that woman is only 140 miles away ready committed and ready to join him .. I was shocked 😳 like this is impossible like in one day he found a committed relationship.. but because I knew he psychology I said 'ok go ' and that was the last conversation He read my other texts that he ignored on what's app a week after and never been on WhatsApp after that I think I told u he had PTSD and I also feel he has avoidant attachment style due to all the trauma since childhood and divorce and family closet to him abandoned him like always and going through very rough time and was hospitalized after I return as well But I know he cares for me and I love him and care for him as well and worrying if he is ok ? Because the break up was all bluff can't be true What should I do ? Should I text him after being dumped ? Or wait ? I can't leave him in pain like this but don't want to get hurt too ? Please advise

I'm sorry...Men shut down on the example you gave because he's probably thinking "WTF is this all about?" Better for men to keep their mouths shut than to say the wrong word (which starts the frustration fight). There's just way too much complex explanation designed to provide elaborate justifications for molly-coddling high maintenance, insecure people... make sure you sell that advice with a bottle of aspirin.
