I have a 5th wheel 2004 cougar, I'm in love with it. I'm glad we got it even though it was used. Its kept us safe and warm, and cool during the hot hot summer that we first had it. Thank you keystone for making such super campers :)

I was really thinking of getting a Cougar but after looking at these comments and the failures... it really concerns me. We are going to be living full time in one.

If it’s got chip board , K3, or anything that’s not good veneer plywood.... your gonna have major problems if a leak develops in the roof especially! Unless you keep it under cover and don’t move it .

These fucking things are slapped together by guys who work as though their pants are on fire. The only craftsmanship that I've seen is on an Airstream trailer. Nicely made with pride.

I bought a fifth wheel Cougar new in 2013...piece of crap....they are all crap , there is just more expensive crap than others...stay away..buy a tent

MY KEYSTONE COUGAR IS A 2008 AND WE HAVE HAD IT NOW ON OUR 4TH YEAR FIRST THE FLOOR CRACKED HAD TO REPLACE NOW THE WIND TOOK THE RIGHT OUTSIDE PART OFF AND MY INSURNCE COMPANY SAYS ITS A CAMPER DEFECT ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME TROUBLE AND STILL NEED TO PAY ON SOMETHING WE CANT TOW

I have been posting this where ever possible. I read about so many people with so many problems with their campers. We have had our problems. You need to contact your states Attourney General. There are lemon laws for campers!

When you remove the access panel to the shower you can clearly see the floor is made of 1/4 sheathing not osb.

Your floor insulation batting is about 3 inches which is about a value of R5 and according to the manufacture of astrofoils their rating is R1.2, so how do you come up with an R15 rating. I think your blowing smoke. Stop lying!

WHY do trailer manufacturers use OSB (water sponges) in ANY part of a trailer?!?! Have you guys ever had to replace an entire floor because the manufacturer was too cheep to spend the extra $200 on plywood? Its pathetic you guys can’t use proper materials. Water infiltration doesn’t just come from rain falling. When your driving down the highway in the rain at 60mph water is being FORCED into the trailer! STOP building $50,000+ trailers with OSB (water SPONGES) & consumers should insist manufacturers STOP using OSB plywood, when OSB gets wet, its destroyed & so goes the floor and or roof.

All propaganda, if you already own one it’s to late. Take a good look in the areas you don’t normally look in, because if you ever have to fix anything on these yourself, you’ll blow a gasket on how scabby these are hacked together. I’ve changed the decal on my trailer to “keystoner”.

I don't understand. Why y'all don't use just regular plywood on the floors. All that stuff I know what that is. All my life. I had driven many house pilot. Way up in the hundreds of thousands. When I first started. That was only just a couple of houses on Kiawah and Seabrook. Beacon racquet club wouldn't even there. But we were the only ones that did that kind of work. But we used to put the pylons they were so straight. I know pile drivers came along. They did mostly commercial jobs. We had at certain times 60 jobs waiting 4 years before they could even get the foundation to their house. That's because the Carpenters refuse to build on anything that pile drivers used. That's how much strader or pylons were . I know you all do some really good things with the campers. There's only two things that I have a problem with. That's the type of plywood on the floor. And in this camper I have. I am too old. It'd be getting down on the floor. To check my breakers and fuses. It seems like y'all would install them up high somewhere around around eye level. Otherwise y'all are doing a good job. That's the truth

i sure would like a better video showing where the holding tanks are ....mine r frozen,so much for zero weather tested....not complaining but i realy dont know why u call it an polar package then dont use heat tape,or a heat pat on the fresh water tank,a simple 200 dollars and it would be an unbeatable package,now a 1 armed fat man has to pull the whole bottom off and find the tanks and install what u should have done to begin with...can u at least send me something to show me where the fresh water tank is??or tell me??
