This video was created for vets to view as a virtual consultation for a custom leg brace. Since many of you are familiar with Cooper's story, I figured I'd make this video public so you could get an update on his condition. It's been 269 days since the accident. Cooper is in good spirits and has recovered from all other injuries, but his mobility is still limited due to the brachial plexus avulsion nerve injury. He can't feel or put weight on his right front paw. He no longer gets to run with me or go for walks with my wife. He doesn't get to go hiking or to the dog park for fear of additional injuries. He hangs out around the house and in the backyard. We're trying to figure out ways to improve his quality of life and bring some adventure back. Hopefully a custom brace will help.

March 2021 Update - Cooper has not recovered from the nerve injury but is able to walk and run thanks to his leg brace! He also now lives on a ranch with acres of land to roam freely. He is averaging 3-5 miles per day!! He's on his 2nd brace and we're planning to fine tune a 3rd one for him very soon since his leg has grown a bit due to increased muscle mass.
