I'm just a guy born and raised in California who loves to restore and customize Jeeps. I currently own a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (LJ) and a 1988 Jeep Comanche (MJ). I also modify just about every other vehicle I own, including a 2019 Tesla Model 3 and a 2019 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 18 DLX. Every once in a while I'll post a gun or random review video, but for the most part, this is a Jeeping, boating, rock crawling, and camping channel with a side of Tesla. I test products from various companies and individuals in the off road industry. I do thorough reviews, not only after the install, but after years of use as well. Watching my videos could help you with your own projects by being able to learn from my mistakes and get your rig setup right the first time.
My motto is, if each video I upload helps just one person, then the effort to make it was totally worth it!!
I live in NZ where guns are very rare, especially since 2019. Our police don’t even carry guns. But I just had a dream where I had to get a safety off of a gun to save myself and I didn’t know how. Then in said dream I woke and YT ‘how to remove the safety off a gun’, which is why when I actually woke, I searched ‘how to remove the safety off of a gun’, which is why I’m here at 0433
I know this is old video but looking at how you routed the wiring to the battery how long was it before it rubbed through the insulation and shorted out?
Never had an issue. Insulation was thick, cables didn't move much because they were zip tied, and where they passed through metal was smooth rounded edges that were folded over.
What is your opinion......Do you think it is worth getting the 75hp or is the 60 hp CT enough? We do not want to ski but would consider pulling a tube. Is the $2000 and 100 lbs worth it?
60 has been more than enough for us. We pulled a tube a few times with a Y harness and orb and it did great. It's been a trouble free engine with plenty of power and really great fuel economy.
@@ryan.vision Thank you for the information! We are still on the fence but will definitely get the 18ft Bass Buggy, just got a call from a local dealer with a 2022 18ft Bass Buggy, 4.25 hours on the Mercury 75hp, wanting 26,500, I like the 2022 and older due to the seat on the live well, 2023 and beyond have removed the seat and moved the live well front left, anyway, gonna look it at it tomorrow, enjoy the videos and information, hope your family (including Cooper are well!)
Did I hear you right… you tow your pontoon with an Acura MDX?? We have been looking at a Sun Tracker Fish Buggy 18 DLX, but we were thinking that our Hyundai Santa Fe wouldn’t pull it, and we’d have to settle for the Fish Buggy 16’. You don’t have problems on boat ramps? Does your Acura have a tranny fluid cooler? A video launching, and recovering your pontoon would be a good video. Your take, technique would be invaluable. Thank you PS: Ya’ll are on the back cover of the Sun Tracker catalogue! Pretty cool
Yep, this is our 5th season towing the boat with our 2011 AWD MDX which is rated at 5000 lb capacity. It does have a trans cooler and the trans is serviced annually. No issues on ramps at all. Has plenty of power (300) and torque (270). The AWD really helps on slipper ramps, no tire spin. I'll try to make more boat videos this season. I typically launch the boat with my wife and dog in it, then they drive around till I park and come back down so they can grab me at the dock. I've launched solo a few times and do have a trick for that so I'll try to do some videos covering these things. Any chance you can send me a pic of the catalog? I told them they could use my pics but didn't see the catalog. That's funny!
@@ryan.vision Thanks for your reply. I’d really like to see more videos of ya’lIs pontoon adventures! (Definitely of launch and recovery!) I would be glad to send a couple pictures of the catalog… how would I go about it? PS: Give Coop a good ear scratch for me!
Just picked one of these up from fb marketplace. For 50 bucks. I was under the impression it was just the basics but it came in a hard case with 6 batteries, an aftermarket controller with some kind of screen that may or may attach, the gimbal on the bottom, and some kind of dji 2.4 datalink device installed. What is the dji datalink used for? I am very confused but not complaining! any help would be appreciated !
@@ryan.vision appreciate your reply ! I figure it out. The person who had this was flying fpv with it. Screen on remote and a transmitter installed on the phantom. Still working out The kinks !
I watched it again just to laugh at myself hahaha I was brand new to anchoring and that was the only way I felt good about it being set. I do things much differently 4-5 years later lol
It's 2024 and apparently these systems are still optional. In my area, the Teslas only woooooo when they're going in reverse, and I don't hear anything from them when they go forward.
The forward sound is static which gets louder with speed. It kinda sounds like a fan running. If you hear the reverse sound on a Tesla the front sound will sound as well. Teslas without it are either older and don't have the speaker installed or the owner disabled the speaker.
Hi, My dog recently had a similar accident 😢 Wondering what type of brace did you order for cooper? Thank you so much!! Happy to see cooper looking good!! ❤
Reach out to Animal Ortho Care for help with a brace. We used a custom carpal brace for Coop and it's still helping him years later. Sorry to hear about the accident and I wish you and your pup the best.
I'm in a pickle. I see the lock ring for the big bearing in the housing. I see the two lock rings that hold the speedometer gear on but what's the fourth lock ring for? I must have over looked it in the directions.
And while I had the T-case on the ground I ran it through the gears. I put it in the Jeep and realized I needed to adjust the linkage. I got it all lined up and tried it out. Now it's stuck in 4lo and won't come out. I even tried pulling the linkage and shifting it by hand. Still no go.
I started carrying concealed daily about three years ago and have a few different styles of guns but always only bought guns with safety’s. I started with the ruger security 9 then bought a LCP2 .380 but felt nervous carrying it without a safety. My favorite guns are Glock and have always wanted the Glock 17. I ended up buying a Glock 44 but after my background check cleared and I went to pick it up I ended up getting a beautiful gen 3 Glock 17 as well with a crimson trace laser for 300 bucks. After taking it apart and physically understanding how the internal safety’s work I’m very comfortable carrying my 17 daily. Your videos extremely helpful and even though I knew all these things I still like to watch as many safety tips as possible just in case
Thank you for posting this video I'm here in Michigan and in 2021 purchased a 18 party barge very similar to yours. I'm getting excited about getting out there. I love your video. God bless.
As a mother home alone durning the day thank you for this i hope i never have to use it.. And please, everyone have Guns locked up so children can't get them.
