I went to this one restaurant and absolutely hated the sandwich I got but I didn't say anything and just drank my drink and waited for my family to finish so we could leave. And the waitress saw I wasn't eating and offered me something else for free. That's it. Just wanted to tell a story of something good that happened to me in public. The world isnt all bad.

I was a waitress for several years and this last clip was very much out of the ordinary. Waitresses work for TIPS. The waitress you had was good at her job because she was able to read her table and took initiative to figure out what was wrong rather than you having to call her over.

This happened to me too. I ordered pad Thai...never had it before, I thought I should try it...I couldn't finish the first bite. I set it aside and ate some of my friend's fries and Quesadilla. The waiter saw my untouched meal and I told her, don't worry, I made the mistake of ordering it and she was like "no, you can pick something else on the menu and we will cook it for you OR because you guys are almost done, I am NOT going to add that meal into your bill as the bowl is still full"...I was so touched, decided not to order it and left her a big tip. The whole time, my friends were telling me "you are too nice, call them to change it"...and I was like no way, it was MY fault for ordering something I am not familiar with

The sign says satisfaction guaranteed, she wasn't satisfied. I had that problem in England, the bacon wasn't crispy at all. I understand that's the way they are used to it but i like it crispy, people have different tastes. A hamburger cooked rare is technically cooked though most people wouldn't want to eat it.

I'm black and I will support other black business owners because this isn't common. The numbers are increasing, but we all know who owns the majority of businesses. Especially if this is in the same community she lives in... She's doing her best to support her local community, which we can only assume is predominantly black. If she lives in, or her business is in a predominantly black neighborhood, she's ultimately keeping money in that same community by shopping at businesses owned by members of that community. Suburban America isn't leaving the comfort of their neighborhoods to go into predominantly black neighborhoods to shop and do business... So who better to support those businesses?

Normally, I'm usually with the business owners in these type of scenarios because the customer usually eats more than half of the meal and then complains, but this obviously wasn't the case. At worst, they should have let him replace the meal with one of equal or lesser value as you stated.

Common sense would tell you, if they won't replace it and still want you to pay then ask for a to go box and get it tested. If it is fine, then it is all on the customer - if not, then he has a basis for at least small claims court or going to corporate. Hassling a less than hourly wage employee to call a manger who is off duty is not the way to do things.

You know, I feel for the bus driver that went crazy and started venting. The passengers, specifically the older lady, could've easily kept her mouth shut and let him be. I know others will possibly disagree with me because the bus driver is the one providing the service, and I've seen it from the passengers perspective, but using common sense, they should've let him vent. The lady at subway saying that woman was wrong for “arguing with a kid” … first off, this country has child labor laws preventing actual kids from being in these situations. That is NOT a kid and her mother isn’t doing her any favors by teaching her to behave that way. Honestly! I have two teenage daughters and my eldest has worked for me part-time for about a year now. Whenever I’m busy, she answers my phone and she’ll help with other tasks as well, but she interacts with my customers and let me tell you something right now, that girls would not be employed by me and I would treat her like any other employee that wanted to act a damn fool! That girl’s old enough to stand behind that counter and run the register, make the sandwiches and everything else, then she should know how to treat customers! I love when people tell workers at large national food chains that they're "going to get fired." Like, first off, that's very highly unlikely. When management knows that the customer is acting crazy, the employee won't get in any actual trouble. Second, even if it were likely, no one just *loves* working at these places. If they get fired, they're not going to cry over it and they can just as easily get a similar job down the street, with very few questions asked. Your ridiculous entitled behavior at a fast food restaurant isn't scary, it's just fucking sad. And everyone is laughing at you.

I'd feel safe with that driver had that dumbass woman not been on there making him even more pissed because *EVERYONE* has days like that, and if you haven't yet then you will, so get the "holier than thou," crap out of here like you've never had a breakdown.

Its not his hand, its the fact he was super rude to the lady on the phone with him. His behavior with employees caused them to refuse service, not his hand.

I bet it had a lot of cilantro in it. Some people (like myself) have a genetic "marker" that makes cilantro taste metallic or chemically. I know also a few people who have have it (I believe one of the president Bushes had it). It is what it is... I think the restaurant should allow the return, but they certainly don't have to (surprised they didn't, as most will). Guy has to realize that "The customer is always right" is NOT a rule or a law! He may also want to test the cilantro idea as I've learned to avoid it in Mexican dishes as much as possible. nHe needs to chalk the payment up as lesson learned and pay his bill.

Also the owner isn't making much sense when he says the guy didn't have the decency to call him and tell him he wasn't going to make it or anything or try to call and reschedule, but says the guy was abusive on the phone to the women in the office which means he did try to call and reschedule it and got mad and started yelling and swearing over the phone to the women in the office after being told they wouldn't reschedule to let him come back because he didn't show up last night.

It's completely normal to send food back if it's tainted or spoiled. It's damaged goods and it's a breach of contract. If I buy a bag of balloons or condoms and they all have holes in 'em. I deserve a refund. If my tacos taste like bug spray...they can bring me some tacos that don't taste like bug spray. If the new tacos still taste like bug spray, give me my cash and let me go somewhere else.
