Those costumes are pretty magnificent, pleased your showing them, they deserve to be shown, the poor cardboard person has been over run with eyeballs lol, it really does look like a fun time, we need a bit of a fun these days Thankyou Adam
Dragon Con looks like a lot of fun! People really are very creative with their costumes and put a lot of thought into them. I did like the little driving cat. Lol I need to make it up there one year. I am sure I would have a blast.
It was my first con ever, it was amazing! Already making cosplay and travel plans for next year. Sadly from what I've read, there's nothing that comes close to DC's atmosphere in terms of other cons so it really is a once a year experience.
@@BinaryHe1ix You really went to the best Convention! Sand Diego Comic Con is Second and Then New York Comic Con in terms of largest and best. But Dragoncon is Non Stop for 4 Days like Mardis Gras. Other Conventions are fun but they usually end around 9 or so.
One day Adam the Woo will film Adam the Woo. Im sure an Adam the Woo cosplay has been done or will be done. Yes definitely cosplay overload. Hard to believe, I remember Sci-Fi before Star Wars.
Wow, thanks for the segment about Toonces. My wife and I love cats and never knew about those hilarious skits. Reminds me a little bit of Topo Gigio driving his car on a skit on the Ed Sullivan Show.
Thanks for the videos. This year's Dragoncon was my first ever, first convention at all actually, and I'm already dreading the wait til next year. Had an absolutely fantastic time, even though we were nowhere near prepared for how insane it would be!
went to dragoncon 2005 to 2011 I miss it so I thank you for being there so I can relive the excitement. I am good on being around that many people...lol. I am glad I was there when it was smaller. Have fun...
Dragon Con looks to be the biggest US con that stayed true to its fandom roots. Love the cosplay videos from it and hope it never becomes like Comic-Con.
Hahaaaa the beaker chainsaw massachre LOL 😂 that's so RAD wow that guy looked like a young Jim Henson, great times.. I love how much people dress up for them..hahaaa I like how you told Michael Myers Jackson "tell them to beat it" hahaaa comedy
Have to admit I see a lot here of what I miss about how San Diego Comic Con used to feel, sort of before the MCU era, the rise of Funko, and the gradual pricing out of a lot of smaller comic book store vendors etc from the convention floor. Anyway, loved every second of this. Woo's adventures have already stacked so much of my travel plans for the next two years, but I've officially got to add Dragon Con to the list. NYCC is the other one. Great coverage. as always . I think I'm always looking for a Jay Sherman cosplayer to go around and tell everyone else their costume stinks , heheh 👍
I can't escape the world according to Woo. Every morning I rush to my laptop to see today's topic. From squirrels, to Disney, to airports, it's almost more than my 71 year old mind can handle. On today's menu is Dragoncon, cosplay, Marriott carpet, Fed-x Jon, droids. Things I never imagined I would be fascinated with. What fun!.
Thank you for all your post. I have not been to any Disney attraction, but I brings me great joy to sit back and see it from your view. I am a grown up and love your Disney post. I am not a fan of baseball, but I also like seeing your posts. It's good to see things I am not familiar with. This post has inspired me to want to do cosplay and find a costume. It's nice to be able to do things for adults too.
Just started watching part 2. Still waiting to see the dragons. I'm old, I thought this was a dragon collectors convention. I can really get behind that. Lol!
HEY ATW...THANKS FOR COVERING ALOT OF THE COSPLAY. IT HAS TO be the best part of DRAGONCON! In years past, your observations describing some of the weirder costumes were the funniest vlogs you've ever done! Man, that Rancor was heck'in awesome! The Star Wars cosplay was even better than at the Star Wars Celebration!! I can't wait for the parade! Are you going to eat at that restaurant , I think it's called Varsity?
Adam they're both from the 80's movie Space Camp with Kate Capshaw, Tom Skerrit, Kelly Preston, Joaquin Phoenix, Leah Thompson, Larry B. Scott, and Tate Donovan.
So glad to see Catlin Jack Sparrow!!!!!! Good job, guy!! The rum is a great touch!!! Wow, Adam, I think I would love to be in attendance there. Those folks have all really gotten into character!!! Wonderful!!! Ahhh!! Tampa Jay and Chris the Girl!!! Love them!! So cute and sweet!!! Carpetbagger is off to the Fair!!!
Toonces the Driving Cat! (24:34) That is the best unexpected surprise I've seen all year. :) Hey, there's a Beatrix Organa (27:28) or perhaps she's Leia Kiddo.
I was ready to comment on the Space Camp robot. "Jinx and Max are friends" is a movie quote I unfortunately have imprinted. From my "VHS recorded from HBO in the 80s" collection.
