I’m confused. I can’t imagine pulling a dress for my daughter that is twice her budget and then sitting there in silence as her heart breaks because she loves it but can’t afford it. It’s time to cough up the other half, Mom! Make it happen!

Everyone wants "more more more", but nobody is whipping out "THEIR" checkbook to cover the overage.🙄

If her mom isn't willing to pay the difference then I don't see why her opinion matters that much.

Great mother, pick a dress for her daughter 2000 over budget and then not offer to pay the difference, really thoughtful and caring!!

If mom wants more bling, she can pay for it herself. That's so annoying.

The daughter is more financially mature than the mother!

The way she said "it's within my budget" to her mom in the last dress made me sad 😢

Honestly, if I were the one buying the dress, I'd go shopping by myself.

So many couple break up over money issues. This bride is being responsible and sticking to her budget. Her mother is doing her- and her marriage- no favors by encouraging her to spend beyond her means.

Shes so lucky they were able to get the dress in time like why would she not tell them the wedding was only 2 months away!! Thats very important info!!!

I feel like this appointment went wrong in so many ways. You shouldn’t bring family members that can’t respect your boundaries, Flo shouldn’t have let her put on the $4,000 dress (or at least tell her the price before she puts it on), and the first thing out of Liz’s mouth should have been that the wedding is in 2 months. I’m glad it all worked out though!

A mother AND a mother in law sitting there saying they want more bling but when the bride stood there, saying she can't afford it and NOT ONE OF THOSE SO CALLED MOTHERS offered to cover the rest, it broke my heart. If you're not paying for it. Keep your dumb opinions to yourself. Poor girl.

This consultant Flo remains my favourite. She is classy, knows the dresses.

“I don’t think this dress is going to work for us” … uhm…not your wedding lady, and you aren’t wearing it. You had your wedding MOM and it’s not about YOU!

I hate it when people sulk but don't take out their wallets. If MOM loves it so much why is she not offering to help pay for the dress. It happens a lot in various episodes and sometimes someone does ask if they will help cough up, it helps to usually shut them down. I liked the episode where the bridesmaids all offered to chip in, wonder though if they really did.

Shopping for a wedding dress and you DON'T tell the sales people your wedding is in 7 weeks ?! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I love Flo. She is very calm and advocates for her client.

The second dress was on another level, hence the price tag. I felt for her with that mother. She looked so lovely in the last dress too and it's very similar.

It is just ALWAYS bad news when someone suggests a dress over budget (2 x's as much - not like 10%!) w/o offering to pay the difference.

I wish these family members and friends would remember the dress is for the bride to love, not for the family members and/or friends to love, especially if the bride is paying for it.

If a mom chooses a dress for her daughter to try on, she should be ready to pay for it if it’s over the budget.

Mom wants a little more sparkle but doesn't offer up a little more $.

This show cracks me up. A bride can put on a Hefty Bag of a dress and everyone hates it, but the minute the veil goes on everyone thinks its gorgeous. Those must be some magic veils!

I hope the mother reads all these comments and realizes how terrible she was

Obviously hard to tell since I'm not seeing it in person, but I was very confused by their claims that dress 3 was not as "sparkly" as dress 2, dress 2 looked like a bunch of lace with a crystal belt whereas dress 3 looked way more sparkly to me since it had crystals all over the bodice and down the front. Also, drives me crazy when family is pulling dresses that are way over budget. That being said, I respect this young woman so much for sticking to her guns (pun intended) and budget.

Am I the only one who loved the first dress? It made her figure look amazing!

Lori was so caring and helpful. And the bride is so sweet.

I love how Lori and all the women , of course Monty, pull together and help the bride. They are so patient and kind, when I think the family should be kicked to the curb, they rise above and help the family stay in tact. Inspiring!

The consultant should have asked the wedding date up front so she could guide the family to dresses that can be bought off the rack.

And yet another episode of “Say Yes to the Veil”. Mind you that 3rd dress is absolutely gorgeous on her. Looks perfect. But Mum. If you want to push her to double her budget, you offer to pay the balance or you agree that it’s out of her budget & tell her she’ll find something even better!

He proposed at Bass pro shop. That's a 50 50 mix of adorable and hilarious! I love it.

it's funny how a THOUSANDS of dollars worth of dress can't be "seen" until they put on a few hundred dollars worth of ---veil!!! whatever would people do without THE veil????

I got married in 1980 and since I was paying I went shopping by myself. An Emperor cut and lace appliques , I loved it.

The Bride told Flo she could only afford $2,000.00 for her dress. Why did Flo have her try on a $4,000.00 wedding dress? This really ticks me off. Bridal Consultant's should work with the Bride's budget period.

When the client first comes in and the consultant asks them what kind of dress they want, when the lady says anything remotely similar to "I'm not real sure", it seems like such an easy response would be to break out a catalog or photo album and show them the line-up of dresses you have to offer. I would think that would be a much better starting point than just saying "well let's see what we have" and diving right in all along hoping the customer will find something that catches their eye. I've been in both retail and commissioned sales for some time and you have to at least make an effort to narrow it down or you could spend hours going through your entire inventory......not that there's anything wrong with spending hours going through your inventory but the more time you spend on one customer the less time you have to help additional customers, make additional sales, and earn additional commissions/bonuses.

So, nobody offered to pay for over budget dress, yet 5 people came with her to give opinions!!

For $2000 she could have customized her original gown.

Who put her in a dress double her budget? 🤦‍♀️ I get that the fake tension is part of the show, but the sales lady whinging about the entourage not listening after she put the girl in that Situation is a bit ridiculous.

I wouldn't take any advice from someone chewing gum in a bridal salon.

We hardly see brides funding their own dresses. Here we have one and one who knows where to draw a line. Bride 👏👏👏👏 that guy is one lucky man.

So many relatives think the bride should make _them_ happy with her dress. I hear it in almost every episode. No! She should make *herself* happy because that's _her_ wedding, not theirs!

Note to unrealistic mother: If you're not contributing any money to the dress, then you have ZERO say. Respect your daughter's budget limitations and keep your mouth shut! I would never bring any one else with me to hunt down a wedding dress. I'll pick what I want within my financial limits and that's it. If you don't like it, don't come to the wedding. I wouldn't want you there anyway if that was your attitude. It's really that simple.
