Do you have a problem with the coyotes digging at the peat moss. Always wanted to try peat but seems like has such a strong smell that would cause a curiosity reaction. Love the videos man keep them coming and good luck in the line.

Hey Chris. Hope you are well. We’ve been running peat for quite some time. I like waxed dirt, but peat is a better fit for us. We have no issues with dig ups. Our peat is stored in the attic where it dries out bone dry. I then sift it and put it in 5 gallon buckets to take on the line with us. Hope this helps. Glad you enjoy the videos. How long of a chain and how many swivels do you use?

Hey Shane. Hope all is well. We run 10 ft of chain to make sure the drag stays on the ground and doesn’t bounce. We run a JC Conner t-bar shock spring 24” off the trap with a swivel on both sides. Swivel at the trap and a swivel where it connects to the drag. Hope this helps. Tight chains!
