I just found your videos on RU-vid for the first time in my life, and I can honestly say you are an absolute Godsend! It couldn't have come at a more crucial time in my life..... This is excellent practical teaching. In all my years growing up I never heard these types of life teachings in church regarding sexuality. The church needs to step up and put these truths forward for the sake of dispelling societal perversion of God's plan for sex.

Interesting points. But, there's also another angle to look at it from: love languages. It's entirely possible for one spouse to want absolutely nothing to do with physical touch, for instance, while the other thrives on it. This is the case with me and my wife; and let me tell you, showing affection? Nonsexual touching? No bueno, bub. She wants no part of it, she feels like every little thing is too aggressive and leads to sex, even in cases where that's the furthest thing from the truth. She doesn't even care for basic stuff like hand holding, kissing, etc. (I don't even remember kissing her like that beyond the third year of our dating relationship - bear in mind that we've known each other for going on 24 years, dated for about 15/20 years between 1996-2016, and been married for going on four years (11/2016 to now) - a peck on the cheek, sure, no prob. Anything beyond that? Big prob.) And let me tell you, discussing this with her has gotten nowhere. So what am I supposed to do?

I have a much higher sex drive than my husband. He is 5 years older so he is 51 but he needs his testosterone level to get to 1300 to 1500. I think that’s the key as well. God Bless.

My wife hasn't initiated sex in years and I continue to be amazed at how creative she can be with inventing reasons why she's not in the mood today. If she tried even a little bit to get into it I think we'd be fine. I probably wouldn't be interested in porn if we had anything close to a normal sex life. But when the alternatives are divorce or celibacy, what else am I supposed to do?

I think he's teaching it. Feed her emotions. Show her you love her for who she is not what you can get from her. I don't know your situation but I can respond from my experience. It's a huge turn off if your into porn. Your focus and attention is not on her but other women as Jimmy said. You may even benefit from the Love Dare devotion. Love is not selfish and sometimes when you want something you have to see what your spouse is missing first. Lose the pronography (get rid of the sin in your life) and show your wife your devotion to her and as always put God first. God will bless you and your marriage.

No that's not it. I am absolutely willing to listen to her and do whatever she needs. But she doesn't want that. The TV and her cell phone get all of her attention. I try to ask her how her day was and she isn't interested in talking to me.

Do you tell her that ? tell her the phone n tv get her attention and how come she doesnt want to talk to you or initiate/have sex? what does she say? maybe suggest to do a fast together! no electronics and read the same devotions each day then discuss it later.... do what you did in the beginning-go to places you went to etc...Good luck, stay in prayer dont give up or turn to porn.

EnemyAce88 I believe women and men are tempted in different ways. Men are visual. We are tempted to view naked women. (Porn) Though we can't blame our sins on someone else. Women are tempted to artificially get their emotional needs met with social media and TV. This becomes a big problem, that no one is talking about. A little porn is wrong but a little social media is fine. It's when we stop connecting with our spouse emotionally and then sexually because we are too into social media. Then we become a sinner, too. Show her this video and go through it step by step. Take her to a cabin up in the mountains far enough away that it has no internet leave all electronics in the car, go on hikes, and spend hours just touching each other and reconnecting. To beat the porn you will need someone to confess with James 1. Best wishes.

If any of this is true I will say God messed up when he made me. I don't enjoy sex at all. I don't get pleasure or happy from it. No emotional magic. It's like a job I don't get paid for. I'm 36 in good health and married for 12 years. Sex is the least important thing in my life.
