When I saw the title of the video, and before I hit "play," I thought it might be about her! No joke, COL Trotter (CPT Korando when she was my company CO) was like this when she was our CO at the 125th MI Bn. at Schofield Barracks - once a Blue Falcon always a Blue Falcon! She made us do the Yellow Lightning all the time too (DS Hy knows what it means, he was stationed at Castle Grayskull too), and I got popped for doctor prescribed opiates because I hurt my back, and she had me dragged to her office to read me my Miranda rights! I had to go to Tripler Army Medical Center to get a letter from a full-bird colonel, telling her to back off. And micromanaging??? She was the absolute worst as a CO, always up our cracks on every detail. We had a ton of company events where we (enlisted) were "voluntold" to show up, especailly on our days off, and she always took credit for these events even though we did the dirty work. Crazy thing is, she was an enlisted soldier once and went green to gold. Seems like she was always trying to screw her soldiers over, like I said earlier - once a Blue Falcon always a Blue Falcon! Seems she's gotten much, much worse, I'm not surprised at all. Funny story - one morning she busted ass so loud at the back of our PT formation I think she sharted; when we all finished our crunches and turned around (and finished laughing!) she was gone!

See you're not going big brain enough with this. Get a second phone and just add a ton of weird stuff onto it. Then present the unit with the bill for the phone.

I'm pretty dedicated to my FBI Agent monitoring my phone so I'd feel pretty uneasy downloading that app

That commander's actions are exactly the kind of thing that ruin trust between unit and soldier, and Army and soldier. I can also easily see the military using a limited version of such a program. She might get promoted for the idea or she might get busted for being clumsy. MY PREDICTION - I think that within the next 10-20 years the military is going to start issuing "secure" phones to personnel, and that is the only phone they'll be allowed to have. That will settle their security problems because the phones either will/won't accept various apps. It can have a separate mode for work related issues and communications and have voice/fingerprint security.
