Maelstrom Eyre i dont think he did really, because throughout the show we see him being soft and kind to crowley and there he seems almost confused, like “i thought i was your best friend, who did you loose?” not putting together that it was him and crowley thought he would never see him again
Ok but the look of absoulte despair and horror on crowley's face when he realized that yeah, god is going to kill ALL the rest of the children on earth, breaks me everytime
But you all know that no matter what you say about your siblings or they say about you deep down you all really do love each other. That being said I never want to live in the same building with mine ever again, but I do love them.
@@pocketluna3607 Have you seen the text post where they feel really bad for the actor who had to play Hamlet. Like you have these two epic actors who have played this role and have gotten awards for it, and he has to be the person that Shakespear has chosen to be Hamlet.
So many people focus on the toast at the end where Aziraphale and Crowley both toast "To the world" but everyone focuses on Aziraphale's. And yeah, I get why: it's so full of emotion, teeming with a deep, fervent love and devotion, it almost hurts to listen to. But no one mentions Crowley's toast. And I think that's a real shame. It's a lot subtler than Aziraphale's version but it's no less fervent. Aziraphale is saying, "You are my world and I love you and I never want this to end and I want to shout it from the rooftops so everyone will know you are mine and I am yours." But Crowley is saying, "You are my world and I'm not quite ready to shout it from the rooftops so instead I'll whisper it so only you can hear." It's quieter but it is no less passionate and beautiful and I wish more people could see that.

Just relax, give yourself permission to enjoy the journey. There's other ways you and a partner can enjoy each other. So just take the pressure off and enjoy each other. Enjoyment is the goal anyway, so just do that instead, and see what happens. :)

They should do a gag scene with a bit of camera trickery and have crowley give some directions to a guy in a blue suit, brown coat, and wearing sneakers (also being played by David Tenant hence the camera trickery) who is coincidently standing next to a certain blue box. Course they would need permission from the BBC to do such a scene, but one can dream.
i always think about how crowley actually gave the nazis a chance to escape by taking time to explain the whole "demonic intervention" thing, all while standing on consecrated ground. we stan a NICE person.

@@atharvadeshpande6907 true but they are also definitely coded as in love. maybe asexual (idk if angels and demons have sex drives), but more like an old married couple than anything. they could write them as very close friends, or they could write them as in love, and i think they wrote them as in love. which doesn't invalidate the other kind of love, it's just what i think was in the show.

The 30 minutes cold open of the third episode shows how they fall in love (at the end of the church scene it‘s obvious ). The LA Times got it quite right: " They embody the deep affection and irritation of a long-term marriage while dancing atop the thrill of a forbidden, clandestine love affair." Their relationship is based on being best friends and this is how they interact but the romantic and flirty subtext is there. Buddy cop movies are not rare but something like this is special. We have tons of "no homo" bromances.
But they are gay. And it's a love story. It's in the book and on screen. And both authors said so, and both actors played it that way. You are being obtuse just to be. You can enjoy something even if it's not exactly just like you. Maybe use this opportunity to expand your heart. Just a bit.

I'm pretty sure the real reason Crowley always has the glasses is so that he can get teary-eyed whenever things make him feel more than he thinks they should, and that way no one will know he's secretly a cinnamon roll.

Ik I've already commented but I just wanted to point out that at 3:55 az looks like they're abt to threaten crowl with discorparation/death but knows that Crowley wouldn't rly care and instead says "I'll never talk to you again". This is so important to me bc it shows that (in regards to them self) Crowley cares more abt his relationship with az then anything and it's amazing as you can see Crowley's reaction of "oh sh!t I need to think of smth rn" and the determination on her face
reminder that when he finds out about the spanish inquisition and what the humans came up with to do to each other he drinks himself into oblivion for 2 weeks straight
