The important thing to remember about back panels on plate carriers? They only really work if you got friends / a team. The Crye Pouch Zip-On Panel 2.0 has many carry over design choices from the Pack version, but with a handful of differences. Whereas the pack is best suited for carrying larger items, the pouch is great for having rapid access to a variety of smaller tools. Flashbangs, 40mm grenades, breaching charges, etc. The bypass pockets behind the pouches is also quite an interesting choice to allow one to carry a greater variety of equipment to meet mission requirements.
For comedic purposes, I have included a way to rig up a self doffing system for the pack; as most forums online are asking about it. Of course, the extra gear you got on a zip on panel is exclusively for the team to use. Personally, I prefer to carry more gear in a larger pack that I have self access to, and can doff easily for vehicle use. Still, this is not a bad thing to have if you are planning to go into CQB environments and can be quite the asset to a small team.
