Can you describe the process for smoothly unhitching.

Does this hitch require level ground for both the truck and trailer? ie: do both vehicles have to be on the same plane? Many times I find a campsite is on one plane and the ramp or drive for the campsite is on a downhill plane, or in some way off camber. I currently run a Pullrite Superglide and this issue presents a big headache. My particular rig does not have auto-levelers, therefore the rig must be connected to the truck in order the level the rig side-to-side before decoupling. If the two vehicles are not on the same plane then tension is put on the kingpin and makes uncoupling nearly impossible. Does a Crosswind eliminate this problem?
