This may just be an indication that my ex wasn't the greatest, but I noticed how Josh has each child's favorite snacks and food preferences memorized. My ex didn't know any of that stuff about our kids. Either way, I think it's such a sweet thing as a dad to know and consider those things for your kids! Good job Josh!

It is sad. My ex (we split up more than 3 years ago) was still calling me and asking “what should I get the kids to eat at my house?” Until recently. Dude, you have them about half of the time-ish. Why are we still doing this? It’s because he didn’t have to. Either he’d ask me or he’d ask them and never had to put mental effort in.

Daaaaamn! Canada is expensive. I do want to point out one thing I've noticed though - everyone is nice LOL. Everyone is letting everyone pass with their cart, people say sorry...I've heard this about Canadians. Here, depending on where you're at....Americans can be rude. I had a lady run over my foot with a cart just because she was busy talking on the phone and just had to get the last box of mini muffins even though I was there first🤣🤣🤣

I still think Ireland is more expensive, considering 500 canadian dollars is only 350 euro, I think all of that would cost at least 500e here lol and he said they only spend 170euro a week for his family of 3 adults + 2 kids which I think is pretty cheap in Ireland.

I'm in New Zealand and the cost of living (particularly groceries) is really actually quite depressing... im doing an online shop now for the week and what used to cost $150-200 (family of 4) now costs $350. I'm going to go and cry in a corner now.. argh!

I live in Perth Western Australia and our food comes by trucks or trains from the other side of Australia and we pay ALOT more than the eastern states due to how far everything comes. Thankfully my 5 kids are adults and I live alone now but the prices you pay in Canada took my breath away. Anything I cook is done from scratch and I do my main shop from Aldi but I think I would lose ALOT of weight through starvation if I lived in Canada. I was staggered at the prices. You’re also not considering the huge amount of Americans who have free healthcare (low income) , or work and have health care through at reasonable or no cost. You’re also leaving out the crazy amount of taxes that are taken out of your checks vs ours, and the additional tax you’re paying for items vs our also. We also have amazing kick backs on tax refunds for low income families, and families with children, each yr Americans receive. Even with minimum wage being twice as much, our checks get a lot less taken from them. It is by far cheaper to live in an average size town in America than most areas in Canada.

I’m glad to see your shopping in Canada. There are too many challenges that are American and I can’t even replicate the prices if I go to Walmart as they do. Also our stores don’t even carry the same items. Keep up the good work. I wish my husband even went to the grocery store every 6 months. People that do not buy groceries have no concept of how expensive everything is now. 2 thumbs up
