Josh, just a tip. You can easily freeze bread and bagels and the taste and texture is the same! I’ve done it for years. I just put the in a freezer bad and take it out as needed. When I make sandwiches I don’t even defrost it. The sliced bread is defrosted by the time I get all the ingredients on it. And then I put it on a griddle/panini press to warm it up cuz I like hot sandwiches. I just throw the bagels in the toaster and they are perfect!

I live in Perth, Western Australia, and our second Costco store opened last December. A 3.6kg pack of mince cost us $36 a few weeks ago. Still works out to be half the price for mince of the same quality from our major grocery chains. Everything has gone up significantly here, it’s crazy!

They only have bag milk in eastern Canada. It’s a big pain, it never caught on in Western Canada.

Uk pack of bacon is between £1.50 and £4. That price is shocking

@kezzspace I wonder if there is a weight difference in our US packs and the UK packs? And I think the difference is a LITTLE leas drastic if you convert your pounds into us dollars when comparing. I do studies on a site and i get paid in pounds...but when I convert my money to us dollars it is always more than it was in pounds. I'm not sure the conversion difference right off though. But still 1.50 in pounds is still incredibly cheap. Our meat is getting outrageous. And like OP said...a good, quality bacon will cost 9$-12$. That's why I stopped buying it. Way too much money.

Easiest diy ice cream in the world, NO LACTOSE: freeze two bananas (i cut mine previously) and a bunch of strawberries (can replace with blueberries or whatever you like). After a few hours in the freezer, just blend it all together like you would a smoothie, and then either give it another few minutes in the freezer or eat directly. Kids LOVE these!!

Josh, you can definitely freeze milk, bread, and butter if you find your family isn't eating it fast enough.

My college aged daughter worked at Walmart for the summer and was so sick and tired of people complaining to her about the rise in food costs. Those people need to see a Canadian grocery haul and maybe they’ll appreciate that we aren’t at Canadian prices… yet. Those socialist taxes are high.

You did such a good job editing this! Very interesting!!! Ben and Jerry’s non dairy is the best but it’s high in sugar 😮. I love a bagel and (vegan) cream cheese. Try a jalapeño bagel with veggie cream cheese- lite toast but warm! If the bagel is fresh its good!
