I am 81 years old and this is the first time I have meditated what a wonderful feeling I am always very very tense and have problems relaxing sleeping I’m gonna continue doing it and sharing it with others thank you so much my voice is even calm😊❤️❤️❤️😊

It is indeed a wonderful thing. Amidst all our differences, across timezones and countries, with problems wholly unique to each of us yet somehow much the same, here on the web on a guided meditation video we all find what each of us really truly needs: peace.
It's help me to refocus when feeling anxious. 10 mins is only a short time but the benefits are lasting. Stay in the moment past is past however difficult

this was a great quick mindfulness exercise. i find body scanning ones easiest to remain present. but remember: mindfulness isn’t about having no thoughts! it’s about recognizing the thoughts you have and being able to pull back into the present :) i hope whoever is reading this has a lovely day/night!

No matter how hard it is, resorting to self harm is never the answer. Because no matter what pain you are going through, you will be happy in the end. Trust me. It’s going to be alright.
As an 24 autistic person who having a crisis because I am of not having a purpose, friends to hang out with and other problems, and feel like I've wasted my life. I'm also 24 and in a similar situation, something that has helped me I that I've spoken to lots of people older than me (30's and 40's who have said its common and normal to feel lost and directionless at this age and that your 20s are a time for trying different things and you shouldn't worry too much about it at this age. I hope this helps you as much as it did me ❤
@@Fractisdnb I mean I go volunteering, have since last April there this guy who is 40....I can talk to him about anything and he gives me some advice, he thinks I am doing very well considering what I've been going through. He moral support helps me. I am learning a lot while volunteering and lifting sofas is a challenge (sometimes) but I am trying my best. Thank you for your kindness and just know that people really appreciate what you say..... Every little helps 😌
I'm similar, I'm a 27 year with mild autism. I used to meditate like every single day when I was 21-23. I didn't even know I had ASD back then. I felt the need to do it especially with ADHD medications that made me even more anxious.
I'm a 41 yr old autistic person. I've totally felt this way, toooons in my life. At this point, I've realized life is just a journey. There, of course, will be setbacks and frustrations and obstacles on every journey, but that's part of the experience. There is nowhere you need to be, but enjoying and appreciating the journey.

this was my first time meditating and i had tears coming down my face towards the end of it. i felt disconnected from my body and as if all my worries simply didnt exist anymore. it was wonderful
I’m a freshman in college and it has not been easy. I get really bad social anxiety and I just feel sad and alone a lot. Gonna try to meditate more now. This video really relaxed me.

My girlfriend and I have started meditating every morning to relax in this time of crisis. Thank you so much. Meditation in the morning, 30 minute workout after lunch, sleep meditation again after dinner. So relaxing. Thank you calm.
Great routine! Mindful breathing can be helpful too. I don't know how different mindfulness is compared to meditation(seem pretty similar to me), but I've made a routine of listening to vids that claim to do both.It might be helping me to calm down, but I think it is definitely causing me to be more observant and appreciative of the simpler things that I probably would have ignored or taken for granted.
marks man do you mean sleep meditate? There are videos that are not only calming and lull you to sleep, but also are designed to play at a frequency that is very calming to your brain during your REM cycle. They start out as a normal guided meditation and then transition into calming white noise
What i recieved during this calming meditation was not just a since of happiness and calmness. But a reminder to, know that we chase emotions more than we chase sugar or any drug. Emotions are what drive us. What happens when we let go, and just be? what happens when we become the observor the the emotion, and not the emotion?

As a person that struggles with severe anxiety daily.. this was incredible to partake in. Also, I am a touring musician that travels all over the country to play music for people.. it’s so much fun and I’m very happy and blessed, but there is no doubt I struggle with severe anxiety/depression & homesickness when I’m gone from my fiancée, family and friends back home for long periods of time. I’ve gotta say tho.. Im 9 years old and i do this in my 4th grade classroom my teacher has the app to and i love it it makse me feal like a fether that just fell of of a bird and is gliding down threw the trees and on the ground. If thos was not a thing i dont no hoe i would fall usleep or stay calm so thonk you
Hello Tamra Schott, i to agree with this. I used to meditate when I was little & it would make me feel free, light & amazing. I'm curently coming close to my 17th birthday & lately i've been strugging from Depression, stress & anxiety. I thought i'd continue meditating throughout my life but I left it behind forgetting to do it. This is my first time in maybe 4-6 months. I don't feel as heavy hearted, or piled up. My body is light & i wish it was free like a bird. This was Such a Calming experience & I hope to do this more often. I Hope You will Continue to do so as wel through your life & stay calm & clear minded.
i’ve never fallen asleep so quickly- i fell asleep with this two nights in a row only half way through. i like to meditate before i shift ^^ for those asking i have shifted a few times.

I use this 10min video a few nights a week. It nearly always fixed my 3am insomnia and anxiety. Plus I get a deep sleep afterwards and wake up fresh. Thanks
This helps so much giving me the time and energy I needed back 💖. My meditation teacher used to say, "if you ever don't feel like you have 10 minutes to meditate you should meditate for 20 minutes". I wish everyone a peaceful and present day.
I cannot even remember feeling my body drop like dead weight, seriously. My mind is as light as feathers. An outer body experience come to life. Not sure if this is making any sense to you. But that's okay, it doesn't have to. Just know that inner peace is the result from completely focusing on different parts of your body. Let it flow, like the ocean waters. This new feeling allows you to conquer the day easily, without your body/mind tensing up. Your decision making is better now, your wisdom is renewed and your strength is refined. Thank you Calm, I hope this impacted someone out there who feels hopeless.
I felt it too, just did this meditation and towards the end when she said to notice how your body feels it felt completely numb? I could feel my outline but was just in my head, do not know how to describe it other than an out of body feeling.
For all those that are struggling with meditation and feel like it is no use remember that meditation (like a sport) needs practice before it can have any real effect on your body and mind. I didn’t feel the change at first and now after meditating at least once every two days, I am more able to control my anxiety and level down my panic attacks from the early stages. Have faith in yourself and remember that you can do anything ❤️ I love you all
