But the bad boy is above all a real asshole, even a public danger, if these archetypes can add spice to a scenario, it is their presentation that poses the problem: Their toxic actions are not reprimanded and we insist on their beauty, their intelligence or their panache, a depth that is rarely given to female characters who have to stick with their attitudes. Moreover, these stereotypes are all heteronormative and maintain one of the most toxic myths in history: the love of a woman, if she is up to it, can save a man (yes, from his own mechanisms violence that he often directs on his relationships, look for the error). In real life, when you want to change, it's not a girlfriend but rather psychoanalysis and/or a good dose of questioning that you have to get.
