Darth Maul (Old Master) Figure Review! Star Wars: Black Series

That hood is perfect.

I've always loved this look for him. This is the skin I use for Maul in BF2. I really dig the scarf and bandolier. That was a great idea! Even without the scarf, I plan on sticking this Maul in the Rebels section of the display. Thanks for sharing, LL - I'm looking forward to this one! 🔥🔥🔥

Love the posing part of this video! I also recently started a Rebels rewatch after the Ghost was revealed.

I got this figure a couple weeks ago and it is awesome. One minor change I made was I swapped the head with Clone Wars Maul at the neck joint and it actually looks better.

I know you said you aren't very good at posing, but using the wrist articulation for some of those poses would've helped. Also, You know you've made a good pose when it's able to stand without support

I think the main thing I wanted to see was the torso articulation. I was curious if it was an overlay or two separate pieces. Super happy that he can swivel at the waist!

That's a great maul figure got mine from star action figures yesterday, poses so good, my malac & malgus should be delivered on Monday,hopefully they are as good as this maul, great review as always👍

I recommend swapping the Mandalore Maul head onto this figure, definitely a more wiser/weathered face sculpt

Im going to grab this one and get the Clone Wars Maul head on it. Thatll be my ideal Maul. Id love that hood deal but with no way to 3D print I guess I will just have to look to ebay for an alternative

Now that I have 4 mauls not including the old orange pack one the only other maul I'd like to see is the one with claw feet before talzin fixed them, or the spider legs! Although I know that would be too large

I thought I'd be good with the Clone Wars S7 Maul, but I may have to get this one...

Are you sure that's a new head sculpt? It looks identical to the comic figure, just with a slightly altered paint job.

The lightsaber is the one you see at the end of the solo movie

I feel like this figure and all other darth maul black series should have double jointed elbows

Do you think we'll ever get double joints for arms and legs with Black Series? ML and Gi Joe have it so not sure why Black Series can't do it

I definitely love this look from Rebels, I'll have to see what I can do about the scarf since I don't own a 3D printer. Thanks again for the early preview of Maui. I think the highlight of this figure is the lightsaber. Way better than the one that came with CW Maul. The figure itself is kinda boring though. Choosing to go with the Battlefront skin over the Rebels look was a poor choice. It’s so plain and lacking any real character or visual interest 🤷🏻‍♂️ just my opinion though. The CW Maul is definitely my favorite.

I don’t know if you get this feedback much or not already, but as someone without a 3D printer, I’d pay good money for a lot of your stuff if you made it available to purchase and get shipped from an online store.

I really don’t like how they didn’t add the cane for the light saber to go and or the light saber hilt. I mean that is a big loss and an easy accessory. They could’ve done along with the hood, of course.

Oh man, those ankles would bug me so much. It's a simple thing, but awkward detents for ankles annoy me so much. The rest of the figure looks good, though! I'm okay with the Clone Wars Maul look, so this feels like fun custom fodder to pad out my Old Republic era figures. Just need a random red head to get me a Sith for Bastila to fight who isn't just Malak.
