how do you continue to watch Gabe vincent throw up bricks when you have max christie who arguably has been one of our best shooters all year warming the bench? This and having Rui guarding Jokic were one of the hardest things two watch as a laker fan for easily winnable games. Trash gtfo Darvin "hell of a ball club" Scam
Gabe wasn’t worse than Dinwiddie. Dinwiddie is a bucket but he couldn’t get to his spots for whatever reason. Gabe hadn’t even played 20 games this season right? What really hurt was the best perimeter defender, Vando not being able to play. I imagine they plan on keeping him and didn’t want to risk injury going into next year.
the double on jokic coming from the man that’s guarding mpj was probably the most frustrating thing to watch as he consistently made us pay for it, and we somehow never stopped doing it🤦♂️🤦♂️
Infuriating especially since AD was the primary defender on Jokic in those situations, why help? I rather a contested tough 2 from Jokic over AD than a wide open 3 for MPJ.. Nuggets learned very early in the series they could get wide open 3s just by posting Jokic even when he was just barely inside the 3
@@Eazyshae98 the doubles worked and it’s a good formula but the staff and some of the personnel wasn’t the best to run. It was most effective in the last game for sure. Just don’t know why rui didn’t stay glued to Porter halfway through the series as a mental note
Absolutely. Magic Johnson went on Twitter saying Lakers load managing was the reason they ended up in the play in and had a bad season. And that this series was all about Denver being physically and mentally tougher. ABSOLUTELY NOT. THIS INCOMPETENT COACH’S ROTATIONS + TERRIBLE DECISIONS DID. Yeah, there were lots of injuries but our key players were available a majority of the season.
I know this probably the end, but I appreciate D Ham u did a great job even reaching the WCF in ur first year. wish u da best going forward LakeShow to the wheels fall off💜💛
Here he is the highschool level coach who is some how lakers coach. Dont use timeouts at right time. Loves his 3-4 small ball lineups even though they never work and is allergic to bigs. Didn't play wood game 4 and 5 when he was ready didn't use vando tonight. Cost lakers 2 games this round and 2 last year verse nuggets to. Cost lakers at least 6 games this regular season. The self sabotage coach ham the bumb. Also takes no accatibily and just makes excuse. Talks about rotations and injuries and yet dont use 2 important guys who could have played tonight what a clown 😂
It will be a relief if we hear in a few days there's a 'coaching search underway' FR... it's been a rough season with countless ridiculous lineups and terrible timing.
Ham has been a problem through out the whole season, not just the playoffs. They went to the WCF last year and his first move this season is to completely destroy the starting core because of favoritism. Shouldve never even been in the play-in to begin with AND THEN how do you have the lead for most of the game through out the whole series against Nuggets and lose 4-1. Dudes a glorified motivational speaker who doesnt know how to call plays and make in game adjustments. This man will go down as the worst coach in Laker history. Get this man outta here
D Ham great job this season don’t know how you get all the blame for this season. When you don’t get consistent performances from your players it’s tough. Coaches don’t make turnovers, they don’t miss easy shots, AD has to get tougher and LeBron has to stop playing the blame game and pointing fingers.
Phil Handy could honestly work, he was showing more urgency and fire than ham does in both seasons they have been here. It’s honestly astonishing an assistant coach is more concerned and engaged than the actual HC. Crazy.
The entire coaching staff needs to be fired. The Lakers front office must hire capable coaches who are leaders and very knowledgeable in how to bring out the best in their players defensively and offensively.
We need a coach who is willing to put these guys to practice hard. Whatever happen to practicing hard so that we're prepared for crunch time with execution and stamina. These guys looked gas and disorganized in crunch time.
Having a coach that isn't just a good person but also pours his soul into the coaching/studying side is what our team really needs. We have high IQ players with lots of skill if they can get to their spots and have enough energy. Darvin makes excuses instead of saying what actually needs to be done better and NEVER takes accountability. We need another coach and I wish we wouldn't have signed Darvin to this long of a deal.
It’s crazy cuz I remember when Ham announced that he was going to be coach, everyone was like, “2024 Lakers champion incoming.” Now everyone is happy he’s gone 😂
My question is what did the coach do wrong? Play hurt? Miss threes and free throws? Was his defense horrible? Coaches always get the blame as though they actually have the ball for 48 minutes. This is on the players.
i mean, first time head coach on a team that expects chips with Bron and AD as your primaries... give some kind of props, he was put in a difficult situation. but yeah, should have done better
Pelinka need to get fired as well! Since winning the championship, he has made bad move after bad move. Sometimes no move at all, when it was needed! Why should we trust him to do anything right in the future!
It's time to fire Ham as he's the worst head coach in the NBA. He doesn't call time outs, doesn't call plays, doesn't make adjustments, shows favoritism, and can't bring out the best in the players on both ends of the floor. Get rid of him!
@@BLESSINGSAREDESERVEDstopped that narrative. Mark Jackson is a phenomenal coach. Beliefs don’t matter. You think he’s the only head coach Tht believes in the Bible ?
Mark Jackson is a certified Moron. He didn't even put Jokic on his MVP ballot last year. He was the only one of all the voters to do that. This year, after game 3 of Den-LAL he said the NBA should cancel game 4 because the Lakers "didn't show any fight".... He obviously didn't watch the games because LAL actually led most of all 3 games and just faltered late. Do you think it's a coincidence that as soon as he left GS they immediately became a dynasty under a different coach???
Maybe i missed something. This team was limited, 2 players and the other guys. Just like the Suns having the bulk of the salary with 3 players, of which 2 scorers showed up. They dont match up with actual teams like the Nuggets, Wolves, Celtics and Knicks.
