My advise is concentrate on your studies, don't volunteer for that silly ass student leader bs. Make the best grades you can. Don't piss anyone off. Be as cool as you can to your classmates. When I was in I never paid much attention to the dormitory BS, I focused on the school house. Once I graduated, I was glad I did. I got my 5 level way early and my supervisor was super happy. Just focus on your studies and career. On the weekends I got with a couple of classmates and we would share a taxi ride to the mall so we could hit the theater, That was it.

@@kelvinmann7993 Hotel parties and parade grounds :P. You're only in blues and restricted to base for a relatively short period. You then phase out and can go off base out of class. Guessing army is similar, but depends on length of technical training.

I am at Sheppard right now and everyone is getting married here, all for the wrong reasons. Even if it's ur girl from back home, don't just get married so she can tag along or for BAH. Being married is serious stuff, whether you think so or not. P.S. Don't have sex in the movie room, you'll get caught. We no longer have a door to any of the common areas because of that.

Wish I had this man's wisdom when I was his age. Don't give in to the urgency! You got your whole life to get it right, fall in love with the right person, plan a life together, etc. In the meantime, FOCUS on figuring out where you fit in, what you want to do with your spare time, and find someone that fits in with that. Better to be alone and occasionally feel lonely, than be with someone and ALWAYS feel lonely.

When I was in Tech School at Lackland, a girl in my team got preggo in the common room and ended up marrying the airmen who exploded inside of her lol. Idk what happened to them, I wonder where they are today hmmm.

Anyways so what I want to say is that, one of the best things you can possibly have is self control, I have yet to go to BMT and become an Airman, and I know after that there's going to be alot of temptation and all that stuff in tech school (wherever they send me anyway) I just hope I find the right girl because I been played a couple times bro, not the best feeling in the world, it makes you feel like you failed at something to put yourself in a position to get played. So anyways just stay strong and keep on making these videos I really enjoy them, they help out alot. Oh and nice sweater, I'm a Levi's man myself haha!

I'm in a long distance relationship and I plan on joining air force. My girl is understanding. Plus not seeing me isn't an issue anyways😂 we've been doing 'no communication testers' to see how long we can go without talking just to see if she can handle not talking to me when that time comes

+Ashley Roper Hey Ashley! Yeah, Sheppard wasn't bad.. I think there is just enough to do downtown and on base to keep you decently busy. There's a small downtown where you can catch a cab into on the weekends, the chow halls on base are alright. Pretty spacious with lots of options. Annnddd it's hot. So you're probably going to be there during August-September, so it won't be too bad, but it'll still be hot
Use protection and be careful ! Lots of hook ups but don’t fall in love ! Just have fun ! Don’t get married. You’re all wayyyy to young. Wait until your 30’s and make sure you have your BS degree before you get out of the military. Go to school online and get your degree and learn a skill that will transfer outside of the military. Your military training will not and does not transfer. ( Some college credits will but any and all certifications will not transfer to the civilian world. ). Remember that.

At goodfellow AFB for tech school 2016 some dude proposed to a girl that was in my squadron. Idk how long her training was but for fire dawgs our training is about 3 1/2 - 4 months. Still crazy to believe people even get engaged in tech school lol. I was 23 at the time.. considering majority of people who enlist are like 18 - 20 anyhow I guess it shouldn’t be too surprising
