Currently in a long distance relationship atm. VRChat really helps me cope with being isolated and dating irl made my social anxiety spike. VRChat gave me a key to happiness, self love, and overall human life improvement. My girlfriend is also hard of hearing so I get to learn sign language from her and perhaps the VRChat community. The best people I've met in VRC have been the past year the reason for my overall mental health. Dating in VR has made me more open (Pansexual) The best players you meet are at the most un-optimal time zones. I mean VRChat can bring people together when you least expect it. Much
me and my fiancé met on VRC about 2 years ago and she moved from the us to uk and now were living together, VRC is not a strange place to meet others and this just proves it
Though it has a sense of sarcasm to the video. But the interview part is legit so warming. Vrchat did bring E-date into a whole new level. Parents from before the 2000s might not be understanding how it works and think it's dangerous to meet stranger. But that is the how it works for real life as well, your loved one was once a stranger at some point. It's just E-date was on the digital world.
A bizarre, yet interesting world, VRChat is. You can find yourself in a lot of weird, different situations that can grow into something more down the line if you let it, like a relationship in this case. It's happened with me, and I'm sure it's happened with most of you guys as well. It just happens; all because of the connections and bonds that form from the interactions made between you and them. If I can say one thing, the game certainly does a great job at fulfilling its purpose of bringing people together, whether it's through talking, playing games or drinking until your liver gives in with a good ol' friend. Great video, Twice!
I’m pretty sure I have mild phantom sense in my face because whenever I put an object close to my face I can feel it actually touching my face. I’ve never had anyone try to touch my face in VRC, though.
a few months back i participated in a vr chat wedding with two grownups and they were actually serious about it they had me read a entire book and everthing
I'm amazed that eroticism is possible with VR-chat's totally cartoon avatars. Try Secondlife, where avatars and environment can be photo-real, and you can do absolutely anything you can in the real world. Why do you think so many platforms ban its footage ? Also, it's one continuous world, 26 THOUSAND servers, and eroticism is just a small part. Venice is superb, and Paris, and wartime vietnam. No-one has ever seen it all.
I just got a VR headset and only add people 18+ I usually ask them how old they are first before I send them a friend request. You can never be to careful
I don’t get why people are weirded out by VR dating. It’s literally just another form of online dating. People meet off instagram, twitter, facebook, other gaming platforms, ect and no one bats an eye. Sure VR is a bit different cause you don’t actually know what the person looks like right away but that can be said for ANY platform. It’s not as big as a deal as people make it out to be tbh. Now I don’t think people should get VR for the sole purpose of trying to find a partner cause they’ll be sorely disappointed in the result. Trying to find a human connection with someone is normal no matter that platform you’re on.
This saids it and helps me to know that I don't need to use nevermet and Flirtual to find love my friend that has found there's was telling me that they just met randomly in a world then got talking then things went from there and that you don't need to go searching for love, love will find you instead
Hey twice your not wrong about the among us, I found my bf in among us and almost a year later we are still together, even though we are far from one and another our love is still strong
I like how vrchat is slowly becoming it's own separate thing from the rest of the world. It's got it's own culture, morals, and it's growing real experiences for people
Vr chat has different groups you can easily identify 1. Spider lair kids-have no friends and have no taste in vr worlds 2. Mirrors dweller-Don't have friends either, looked down apon 3. Avatar collectors-Like rare avatars friendly but annoying 4.Erpers-Gross, Please touch grass 5.Roleplayers-Chill
I love that people date on VRC, but some people think that the only purpose the game has is dating and it often ends up in them being a depressed full-body mirror dweller.
A lot of people, even irl, have this idea that everyone needs to have a romantic relationship to be happy and it's, like, super toxic to have that mindset. You should do what you enjoy and make the most of life and let experiences come and go naturally, not try to force some kind of win condition like its yugioh
@@thelordpotatoesorjtswagste1945 it's not a mindset based entirely in falsehood though. Studies have shown that an inability to achieve romance does negatively affect one's mental health. It should hardly be suprising that failing to achieve a base instinct of humanity can cause mental health problems.
@@himedo1512 Yeah, it's definitely a thing. It's easy to get dragged out when you are shown before your eyes something you may want, which can simply be an intimate romantic relationship and love, which the latter I'd say all (or atleast majority) of us humans want. It's important to find means to deal with it. There's no easy life guide or love guru to fix this, advice and simple guides, perhaps, but ultimately nobody can judge or live your life, everyone's is unique with its own inequality and unfair situations and vice versa, so you shouldn't try to compare yours to someone else's. Do what you can for the moment, learn to love yourself and those around you, and then see where it leads you, that's all the advice I feel I can throw out without over generalizing everyone's lives.
The primary determining factors in dating are looks and socioeconomic status and personality in more or less that order, and thats not entirely black or white if anyone understands the therm. English is not my native language. Vrchat at least perhaps somewhat negates the looks bit, and things focuses more on socioeconomic status and personality. Thats at least my theory. Among American millennials, 15-30% men are involuntary celibate, roughly 51% do not have a steady partner, roughly 30% are often or always lonely, and roughly 22% have no friends. Many men thinks that the dating game is rigged, and after multiple failed attempts just gives up and decides to put their energy into hobbies, learning new skills, traveling and so on.. Because mastering a new skill is more fruitful to many than wasting time, energy and money into something that many men sees as fickle. They also perceive that as more safer,- there are no risk of false accusations ( ref J. Depp he luckily had the money to afford to defend himself, lawyers are not cheap! ), a unfair law system, social factors, a lack of services for male victims of domestic violence are also contributing factors.
I dont get why people think its so weird to have VRCouples...I personally met my significant other in Sovren's chill home. We've been together for almost a year now and we are thinking of meeting each other irl! The videos you do are great! Keep it up!
Personally I think there are multiple reasons such as you are to weak to meet someone irl, you don't feel accepted in ur current society, feel as if only someone online might understand you better because you'd be Edit: yt glitched out or smth sorry
@@losero0658 hey there although it does seem abit weird to some people being couple through vrchat we cant really judge them as pathetic for not going on their way out at finding a love in real life considering todays society and all maybe they just dont fit in? Or the hobbies are different? Or even they arent just at the right enviroment with people they feel attracted to in the end its their love life and which way through irl, vrchat or other platform that fate brought them together also according to the interview above some of them even move in together in the end its just another social platform with more features than the others on interracting with people that had the same hobby playing vr chat more or less
Ty for reminding ne where it was from. The second i heard the first note it hit me i was like holy shit i know this. But where. Now im stuck with these damn emotions. After getting this feel good heart warming thing now im whoplash
yooo hi i'm oddtopsy from the video! it was rlly nice working with you (and hopefully namaku feels the same) and i loved how this all turned out. i hope to work with you again in the future! 💜
I met my gf in vr at and we're already making plans to move in together. Distance sucks yeah but in the long run, it'll be worth it as well as a fond memory. Just glad we have vrc to help bridge the gap in the meantime.
@@ChroahCresta thats great man! A lot of ppl think its weird to e date but if you end up meeting each other irl and things work out it seems like it can be great
I found a couple doing stuff in uno. It was myself and many others disgusted and were telling this dude who had his 3 girlfriends with him to go to a private world if he was gonna do that stuff
I met my girlfriend 6 months ago on VRC, and we've been together since. It's not complicated, we just met, and we clicked. Neither of us was looking for anything, and she herself just got out of a very one way relationship. The two of us are going strong, and our plans are to move in together in a year or so. And yes, we ERP. We're adult humans with urges. It's not hard to imagine what couples get up to lol.
Today is actually six months on the dot from the day I met my now girlfriend on VRC. We met IRL just a month ago and she's the best thing to ever happen to me. Almost identical story to yours believe it or not lol
This is my first time seeing your channel or your content in general, but damn. The production quality here is immense and honestly I'm probably going to be watching a lot more of your content. Great work.
Me and my wife met in VR chat in November 2018 she's such a great thoughtful person we got married in vrchat September 17 2019 and are still together till this day coming up on 4 years together and I wouldn't have it any other way
Biggest issue I always see and I can never look over, is that 90% of the male population in this game turn into horny degenerates at the slightest whiff of the opposite gender, especially if they're a flirty/social type of a person. This means that non-stop the girl in question (if they fit the personality/characterization) will be hit on, flirted with, and bothered by male 'friends' that (believe it or not) are looking for more than just a friendship, whether or not the girl is aware of it. Now ofc there are some women on this game that shut out and can identify these types of degenerates and weirdos and avoids them entirely, but that's a rare find I'd say. All in all, I hate 90% of the male population on this game for just being the creepiest, horniest most down bad weirdos ever on the internet, except you weirdos have bodies and voices now that I have curse my eyes and ears to witness up close. Just my take though. Good video tho fr
The thing is, from a female perspective, it's like this for us 90% of the time already, it's just more pronounced in VRChat because people tend to omit their filters because of the anonymity that being online provides. Those people are still that way irl, but usually they try to fake it a little at first or they tend to down-play it, at least at first, because it's harder to "get away with" doing that kind of stuff irl without repercussions.
Well sadly I don’t ever think I’m gonna get anyone because people treat me like a phantom. It doesn’t matter if it’s physically or virtually. People just don’t seem to see me at all. I literally can’t even talk to someone normally. And I look at others and I’m just thinking “how in the frick do they notice you? They don’t notice me at all but they notice some other guy” I just don’t get it. Everyone literally sees a phantom when they look at me. Invisible.
This is how you get a girlfriend on vrchat 1.dress as a handsome guy 2.get a deep voice or voice changer 3.ask every girl if they need a bf 4.find a person and discord 5,find out its a guy 6.repeat
I knew someone in VRC for a long time, ever since not long after I first started playing, and I had unfriended him for a while mostly because of his friend group. Then we met again off a mutual friend and I caught feelings real quick. Apparently he had caught feelings around when we first met. To make a long story short, he broke up with the dip he was with for me and we got together and we've been together for over a year. March 26th marks our anniversary.
Oh to be young. lol. America Online Dating and Yahoo Dating were some of the first. :-) I have phantom sense on just PC. I'm looking forward to getting full VR. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
...I actually hate to admit this but I met someone i'm actually having a relationship with through among us- to make it worse- we were both Danganronpa Avatars- (Shuichi and Chiaki)
I really wish I had a partner or just a friend. It’s hard in real life cause people would judge me by my appearance. In vrchat, she may just be a dude. I’m really underweight, shy, and depressed. I used to row in high school. After graduating I stopped working out because my coach was horrible. After rowing my ass off in a 2k he’d just say, ”what can you improve on?” I’m not the coach, he should tell me what I should be working on. I felt as if he were telling me to get good. He kept scratching me from boats and only had me in one or no events at all. That’s where I knew he didn’t like me. I almost wanted to kill myself because of it. Even before rowing I struggled eating and was called ‘Skeleton’ so I wore a hoodie to hide myself. All of this resulted in me losing emotions. I can’t express myself. If someone were to pass away, I wouldn’t cry. I’d just sit in silence. I only cry thinking about my past. I can be a selective mute in VRChat and enjoy hanging out with friends. I’m on and off and may take breaks that can be around a few months. Feel free to add me. VRC: Just a Bush
Man I everyone in this video seems so happy to have these moments. It’s just making me cry. I do t understand these people. Why do they treat me like a phantom? I bet that many people won’t read this comment too that’s for sure.
vrchat is slowly growing its like..its own country, you have laws, regulations, social norms and all sorts of people, it really starts to feel like its own world and gives a lot of experiences to people, especially those who struggle to IRL
I decided to search this video up because of someone I met in a lobby of Murder 4 I think it was But one day I was bored with not many people on my friends list I actually knew online, and I saw that they were in a LS Media world So I decided to join and they had just finished a movie, so I decided to show her an anime I really like, ‘Made in Abyss’ I showed them episode 10 to 13 But at first it was just to play a little trick on another guy who was in the world, if you know about episode 10…you know But she absolutely enjoyed it then we spent the rest of our time on playing with Avatars based on the characters in the show Just yesterday I showed her the third movie for Made in Abyss, in Movie and Chill, and it…was kinda like an unintentional movie date… Later that night I was left thinking to myself “God damn it…I’ve fallen for her” I wonder if she is as pretty as she sounds
I met my ex in among us! (Vrchat) I was just playing w/ randoms when this dude joined, we played a couple games and friended eachother. I wasn't the most social at the time so I'd avoid joining friends unless the req invite or Invite me, no matter if I wanted to play or not. But whenever we were both online at the same time neither of us would hesitate joining eachother. We ended up getting together but soon split since neither of us could handle the long distance relationship. We plan on someday getting back together when we're more available to eachother. I got carried away from the main point of this comment but yk.
Tbh I don’t get the whole VR dating. Not bragging or anything but I’ve had many gfs and currently in a relationship of over 2years in irl. So never had a issue on that but I’m no one to judge anyone that feels in their soul, mind and heart that they found the person they wanna be with regardless if it’s virtual reality. I just would hope them the best and that they eventually meet in irl and be happy.
I never intended to fall for my current boyfriend when we met over a year ago by random chance, but I couldn't help how I felt. We've met irl several times as well as each other's families and are planning on moving in together 💜 it's possible. You have to be careful out there but I now know what I would've missed out on if vr had not existed, xo
Actually, @twice, I have a friend that actually got married in VRChat and I am pretty sure it was an official marriage. I'd be more than happy to look into that and see if they would like to talk about it with you.
My ex girlfriend hated it whenever I would play VRChat. She would take shit out of context, be super jealous, but all I was doing was flying in Test Pilots XD
Apple juice and orange juice are two of the most popular juices in the world, each with their unique flavor and health benefits. While both are delicious and nutritious, there are several reasons why apple juice is superior to orange juice. First and foremost, apple juice has a more pleasant taste than orange juice. While orange juice can be bitter and acidic, apple juice is naturally sweet and refreshing, making it a more enjoyable drink for many people. The flavor of apple juice also pairs well with a variety of foods and can be used in cooking and baking to add sweetness and moisture to recipes. Moreover, apple juice has a higher nutritional value than orange juice. Apple juice is rich in antioxidants, which help to reduce inflammation and protect against chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease. It is also a good source of vitamin C, potassium, and fiber, which are important nutrients for maintaining overall health. In contrast, orange juice has a high sugar content and lacks the fiber found in whole oranges, making it less beneficial for weight management and digestive health. While orange juice is a good source of vitamin C, it is not as rich in antioxidants as apple juice, and its acidic nature can sometimes cause heartburn or other digestive issues. Another advantage of apple juice over orange juice is its versatility. Apple juice can be consumed on its own or mixed with other juices, and it can also be used as a base for cocktails and other drinks. It can even be added to savory dishes like sauces and marinades to add sweetness and depth of flavor. In conclusion, while both apple juice and orange juice have their benefits, apple juice is the superior choice due to its delicious taste, high nutritional value, and versatility. Whether you're looking for a refreshing beverage or a healthy snack, apple juice is a great choice that is sure to satisfy. So next time you're deciding between apple juice and orange juice, remember apple juice is better.
Me and my wife did not meet each other on VRC. We actually met each other on something relatively similar but not quite the same. As in it wasnt VR. We do play VRC and often cuddle IRL while also cuddling on VR and as much as I hate to admit this, we frequent Dilucs Tavern. In fact we saw Twice on two separate occasions there I wanted to say hi but he seemed busy with the ongoing conversation so i did not bother him. If you see A random Zhongli hanging around a Hu Tao wearing Sopmod II's outfit from girls frontline, that would be us. The Sopmod Hu Tao is a private avatar so couldnt be anyone else. As cringey as it sounds and as much people may dislike it, Genshin was a game me and my wife bonded over and played together during a rocky part of our relationship and it made us stronger because of it. The reason we use Zhongli and Hu Tao as our respective avatars is because their dynamic reminded us of ourselves and due to that gave us a newfound appreciation for one another. As we got more invested in VRC as well as Genshin our bond only grew. We have met truly genuine people and even made a sort-of family in VRC. I am well aware that VRC "families" can be seen as relatively cringe but I truly wish to believe we gave everyone involved a sense of belonging through that. Although we have been together 5 years, when we were on the verge of breaking it off VRC and Genshin gave us something to bond over, and it made us stronger then ever before. Therefore both games will always hold a special place in my heart due to the memories it gave her and I. I am in my mid 20s yet I was able to to find a loving partner who is willing to work with me through the problems that come with any relationship and rather early in life as well. A relationship is filled with arguments and whatnot but what matters most is how you come out of it. So long as you can both meet in the middle and compromise, or find something silly to bond with all over again, it can work out. All it takes sometimes is to just try. And if you truly love someone, then simply trying should be as easy as breathing. Thank you for reading, kind stranger.
ngl I like vr chat dating, but I am ashamed of myself bc of that, I think its like... social things like wtf go get a real life girlfriend, or like its a dude with a voice changer, but first of all they are real wtf, and second, yeah it could be idk, but u can do something called video calls and that's the short answer if it is a dude with a voice changer or a real woman. Still I feel ashamed of myself.
I met my girlfriend in VRchat we've been togheter for almost 4 years and we're trying to work plans to live togheter because the long distance became painful we're still very far from making that happened but we're working hard to do so we already met irl more than once sadly couldnt during covid and due to our jobs and costs we cant see each other for longer than a week But i cant wait for the day that can finally happen
