guys ive been wanting to play vr and pc gaming for years and now i might FINALLYY score a job at mcdonalds and ima go on a grind to buy a super awesome pc and headset!!
I met my boyfriend on VR chat. I went to the infected extinction or whatever it is game mode world. I always forget what its name is because a friend wanted to go there and we bumped into these people who were just hanging around outside of the lobby area. there were a bunch of people there but this one guy was really shy and was too nervous to talk to anyone but I kept giving him all of the attention and in the end he started messaging me every day wanting to hang out and wanting to play because I was being nice to him and he finally built up the courage to turn on his microphone and we started talking and eventually we realised it was the right thing.
The best ideas for adult-only worlds so far seems to be sending in a school id to show your general age category, or adding and using payment info either from a paypal account or straight up credit card, as none of these have your address on them for irresponsible company workers at VRC or Riff VR etc to use or to be revealed when the next hacker gains access to the company's user database. I think a Paypal micro-payment would be the best way to protect adults from children and protect children from adults by using this for 'paid only member' worlds. Ethics and common-sense-wise, any adult who spends a lot of time with children is going to be viewed badly by other adults, except maybe if it's a woman. Accusations can easily arise to harm a person's reputation or worse, not to mention we want to cut down on child predators, so we absolutely need places for adults to be among adults only. The threats of going to jail or ruining people's reputations are more important than anyone's feelings on whether children are 'mature' enough to hang out with adults in adult spaces or not. Our society is set up legally to be a giant trap for everyone, so we NEED protections against this.
I'm grateful that I have a Quest 2 and I'm not one of those types of kids who have Quest 2, but I'm almost 15 years old, and one thing I know I need is a PC precisely to make content for the vrchat and things optimized better, I was thinking that quest 2 would be a good experience but.... in the end it wasn't what I expected.
I hate crashers who crash lobbys imma hop in a lobby with a friend to help me find a crasher that has a gun or something like that for my own safety/others safety
This is true if kids on vrchat aren’t doing anything inappropriate or illegal or ik 18+ worlds i think its completely fine and swearing who cares kids swearing isn’t a new thing at all so i think kids on vrchat are allowed to play
I just prefere to go to smaller worlds with less people where i have notice people have good vibes and chill. Like aiiko's room, there cool there and vibe in a nice way. Im in vr to forget the real world and my problems. I just want to play and be happy. Not even want to get personal with people, no discord or anything outside VrChat. I cant talk anyway, my voice dont work... Maybe i can leurn to use asl in vr and hope someone can read that lol. But text works to. Only had good experience so far... Not crashed yet. But im only in vr since a week
had a lobby crasher in my black cat lobby once, he crashed the lobby, my game didnt crash for about 15 minutes. just kept freezing and unfreezing. so everytime i unfrove id be staring at the crasher with my arms crossed. then i crashed. my 3090 held out as long as it could
Raid shadow legends is a free to play gambling game where tou can spend real money to win it has ground breaking graphics if it was made in the early 2000s
i actually sometimes enjoy toxicity when they dont touch certain subjects, because yk? I know they don't know me, and that i know myself and i know im not a bad person, so i just have my fun and insult them back, and if its a little kid ill find a way to annoy without insulting them because they are usually FIVE.. the only thing is that if there are multiple people being toxic there it gets annoying and i block them or leave the world, tho it doesnt happen to me like ever that multiple people are onto me annoying me and insulting me, speaking of this i havent played vrchat in like a year, damn
vrchat is slowly growing its like..its own country, you have laws, regulations, social norms and all sorts of people, it really starts to feel like its own world and gives a lot of experiences to people, especially those who struggle to IRL
I have a avatar that crashes people with domain but I don’t crash people Edit: actually I do only if they are super rude and like swearing idc if I get kicked as long as they are gone
