@@mosti4725I admire the optimism, but it will be a cold day in hell when Bungo picks a video where the audio is essentially shitting on them for their feature MOTW That being said, I personally find the video hilarious
Can't believe Datto successfully bullied bungie into making a good decision. That man is not your average gamer. Not only is he married, he also gets Bungie to listen to him. Unique specimen
It's a good thing they took it away too, but that does not mean we let our guard down. This DOES mean that we can let our voices be heard, so keep fightin the good fight.
Truly the most angry I’ve ever seen Datto get. And not even for content, just in a review video for the beginning of the season. It obviously got the message across to Bungie considering they removed it not even a week after.
The thing is they have already. The sandbox lead is a former content creator, Mercules. Patrick Casey and Myelin Games also worked at bungie as contract workers. Nothing will change the fact that it’s the higher ups calling the shots
Like hear me out. A lot of the really exotics at this point really should be "free." Give us more exotic quests bungie. Take them out of the random drop pool. Friend that got into the game saw Sunshot (when it got the buff, was part of the reason they even picked up the game) and went "I want that" and I had to tell them, that they had to get lucky with exotic engrams. Or at least give the ability for people to focus the exotics weapons they want through collections or similar, even if its only for the more out of date ones. Thankfully said friend lucked out and got it quick enough. But at this point there is really no reason it should be a "luck of the draw" for what has become such a go to weapon for alot of people. The fact they gave out Tractor Cannon rather easily was a step in the right direction, but its questline is still few and far between.
I think that, after Final Shape, they should shift away from other expansions for a while and start pouring the saved time and energy and resources into 50/50 for the following: ⚪️Making more content for each episode. 3 episodes for the 1 year is 4 months per episode (barring delays or EXTREME sudden technical difficulties). Every episode should be _at least_ about as large as Shadowkeep + 1 smaller season. ⚪️Expanding the FTP side to A: Allow new players an enjoyable ride to the endgame… And B: use the chance to add back snippets of vaulted content, to eventually create a “Last Time On Destiny” sort of playable montage from D1 base game all the way to, at minimum, Season of Arrivals.
I agree with everything but the thing about every episode being bigger then shadowkeep. That might not seem like it but that a LOT of content. I think they should definetly be bigger then out current seasons by a long margent but that's a little too much.
Deadass think the whole started pack would’ve been fine if they did like 2 or 3 things 1. Better exotics. No one wants sleeper, chosen, and Lorentz. Give them weapons like Thorn, Devils Ruin, Heir Apparent. All the Weapons I just listed were getting buffed this season or were already good 2. Lower the price not by an unreasonable Margin but maybe this shit like 10 maybe 8 Dollars 3. If they can’t lower the price make it include the current season pass on it. like deadass it would bought that in a heartbeat even if it was like 5 bucks more
It defeats the purpose of playing the game overall because you can't enjoy the experience of the game when doing stuff like this also not as rewarding💀👏
That dev specified Paul Tassi, Saltagreppo and Aztecross, not Datto, and that dev also clarified that those people's opinions simply aren't on the 'DEFCON' scale since they complain or give feedback so often that it's hard to tell when there's a spike in complaints from one of those people. Funny how Datto was on the 'DEFCON' scale and yet the ex-Bungie dev only pointed out Paul Tassi, Salt, and Aztecross as not being on the scale. Kind of suggests that Datto's opinion matters (or at least that Bungie knows it's serious when Datto's pissed).
It didn't say they 'didn't matter', it's that Paul Tassi, Aztecross and Saltagreppo didn't register on their radar because they complain so much and give so much feedback.
Hes mad about 15 dollars but he definitely paid 100$ for the final shape. Not saying he wrong but we all allowed bungie to do this to us. Now we get what we deserve. Also why did darkside royalty get crapped on for calling this game out early on but now cross, datto, and others are being held up on a pillar doing what he did for years?
Because higher ups decided it would make the most sense to release a starter pack literally right after a huge company layoff. The expansions at least helped the company and their people continue to do what they like doing up until Sony bought them out.
When Darkside royalty been doing it since forsaken only to get the d2 community calling a whiny negative brat that can't be pleased. And both will still be there for final shape, 100$ version in hand. We d2 community get what we deserve.
@@naiveveg8447 I've watched DR and I've even agreed with him before however considering even when they've done good he rarely actually gives them props for it and yes he does drone on at times not only are people less likely to listen to him but he comes off like an A-hole a lot.
@@adarkwind4712 but he hasn't been wrong and that's a bigger issue than not praising bungle when they do succeed. Tfs needs to blow socks off. D2 can't have another lightfall moment, the d2 community is done with getting jipped
@@naiveveg8447 yes he has. He hasn't gotten everything right all the time and he has gone overboard. It's part of the reason I'm no longer subscribed to him.
