Challenge and strengthen your lower body with this 25-minute "Lower Body Burn" session. This leg workout blends weighted and bodyweight exercises and is meticulously designed to build muscle, enhance endurance, and sculpt your legs, hips, and glutes. It's an integral part of our second week, focusing on deepening strength and resilience.
Strength training is extremely beneficial for general health and wellbeing, and this workout will help to build on the strength and muscle we've already gained in previous sessions.

- 🦵 Targeted Lower Body Exercises: Expect a variety of movements focusing on thighs, glutes, calves, and overall leg strength.
- 🏋️‍♀️ Weighted & Bodyweight Movements: A combination of exercises using weights for added resistance and bodyweight for natural muscle engagement.

- 📈 Progressive Intensity: As part of our series, this workout helps build upon the strength gained in the previous sessions.
As a fully qualified personal trainer and fitness professional specialising in women's health, I bring a unique perspective to women's health and wellness, especially for those navigating through all stages of menopause. Being in my 40s, I deeply understand the challenges and transformations women experience during this time. really great workout today. I discovered we are staying at an air bnb with a whole gym and a set of weights and I didn't realize that until AFTER this workout. hahahahah. :)

Yay!!! Day 12 done! I’m finding myself in a weird place where I want to stay lazy, but I also want to workout! So I make sure I choose the movement! Yesterday was a day at urgent care with my sick husband. He has bronchitis😢 So doctor’s and pharmacy and grocery store was my day after working all day. So I made sure to move today. I really like the gorilla squats. Those are fun! 😊 Thank you, again Kirsty!

That was a killer. I was quite tearful when it was over because I’d worked so hard. This programme is giving me so much confidence in my body eg walking down the stairs on alternative legs not going down one at a time because my ankles done feel strong enough. Thank you x

Day 12, An excellent workout and again loved it. I didn't think I could do the lunge, I've tried many times but it hurt my knees...... result doing it how you showed us more upright I can go them whoop whoop. Have you any cool down videos I could do after when using weights, I will probably be crawling on thr floor if I've to get out of bed in the middle of the night.... still enjoying every video and I smiled when you told us too 😊😊❤

Ouch, what a doozie! I felt the leg lifts in my hips and the static squat, I felt in the back leg. Is that normal? Not sure if your other videos do this, but it may be helpful to show/tell us where we will feel the work or which muscle is working during a specific exercise. Thanks again for another great workout🎉

Thanks for the feedback ❤️ most of the exercises I include work multiple muscle groups to make them as effective as possible in a short time frame so with these exercises you’ll be working multiple lower body muscles (in the front and back of your legs) as well as in your core & hips. So it sounds like you did exactly what you were there for 👏💪 just remember you can always make little adjustments if the exercise doesn’t feel right, there is a difference between discomfort and pain so just make sure it’s not pain you’re feeling ❤️❤️
