a compilation of some of the best that dragon ball dubs have to offer. if you dont know, the AB Groupe dub, also called the big green dub (for reasons that will... become apparent in the video), was a dub of some of the dbz movies and specials. you can read up more about it here (dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/AB..., but basically the company that was dubbing dbz at the time used a bunch of voice actors in france to dub the movies despite already having a set of voice actors doing the main series. it sucks. the voice acting sucks dick, and the names of the characters are butchered to a occasionally unbelievable degree (and it's inconsistent, too; i swear the voice actors switch between pronouncing "gohan" correctly and incorrectly at least two or three times in this film). it's still nothing if not entertaining, though. this video specifically covers Movie 5, Cooler's Revenge (although its Movie 4 in this dub because they mislabeled all of their films when they were released physically for some reason). also, in the final fight of the film, the voice actor for cooler just completely drops any pretenses of restraining himself and just goes apeshit. he is one of the best things to ever come out of this dub and i can honestly admit i prefer the voice over the "actual" english dub voice for him. fun fact! this video took like 6 fucking uploads/edits to get it on youtube without it getting copyright blocked in every region short of antarctica. anyways, enjoy the video. no goodbye :(
