Either the Entity is becoming much bolder, or it really slipped up allowing a camera to catch it taking someone. Either option spelling out dread.

I hope Mikaela and Sable are going to have voice lines when they're together in the lobby. It would be a neat thing to add.

And as I seen there might be a Michaela version of the new killer... Imagine Michaela reacting to that saying along the lines "thats not me... I heard it too"...

The marketing on the chapter is INSANE. Super cool name drop on this girl being friends with Makeyla Reid our previous Wicken character

I love the fact that before the video stops, we hear this screech sound, which is very similar to the sound of Unknown’s teleportation in the game. Really adds depth to the whole situation.

So the DBD devs saw some analogue horror and thought “yes.” The Unknown has distorted body proportions and a stretched wide smile. Looks straight out of the heavily distorted images from things like The Smile Tapes. It seems his weapon will be a firefighter’s axe. And the best part? There will be multiple of these “Husks” throughout the map that the killer can switch between.

They NEED to channel THIS KIND OF HORROR for the future of this franchise. Just when I’m slipping with this game, this overall concept pulled me back in. I want to be invested in this franchise. And I’d also love a single player narrative (or co op if they can actually implement it well) for the core DBD characters. Honestly believe there’s great potential for what they have here. Just hearing Mikaela’s name gave me goosebumps, even when the actual horror element already did that. The other Tent teaser also was astounding. My god The chills

My opinion on this update: The new killer: on of my favorite but I think you should be able to hold a Halluzination and can choose when you drop it (up to 2 hallucinations can be hold) New surv: my new main :D good job Perks: Unforeseen: I love this type of perk but I think it’s need a buff because it’s feel like a bad version of trail of torment Unbound: it’s need a buff but not to much because this can be really broke if it’s get to much but cool Idea Undone: really needs a Nerf or better, a rework, it’s only good on skill check build but agents really good survs it’s useless and only hurts new player Strength in Shadows: I like the basement Idea but when you are doing something like that it’s need to be good and when you are only running that, it’s just not wort it Wicked: I know you want to play with the new Mangel Effekt but this is just not good, mb make it so that it’s working on every debuff but only 10% Invocation: Weaving Spiders: I love the new Perk Ideas!!! And I love this perk! It’s fun and a good concept! When you Interact with it for 7 Seconds you spawn a ghost that will instantly jumscare the killer than blind him vor 5 Seconds and give him the Effekt hindert (30%) for 10 seconds. After the Interaction, the circle will spawn agen in a random position on the map (20m away from you)

Here's an idea to have agent 47 as the next killer. One of his perks would enable him to disguise as any survivor that he moris with his fibre wire, enables him to pretend to be working on a gen but is actually planting some trap, throws peble to deceive survivors. Just imagine agent 47 disguise as Feng Min

This reminds of early mandela catalogue or greylock with the police found footage and the killer being an almost otherworldly being with an uncanny smile.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but the camera feed at 0:23 shows that the projector is actually playing the Casting of Frank Stone trailer.

I just realized that Sable perks only activate in a place that is known by everyone, and the killer is based off the unknown. Might just be a coincidence, but it is still pretty cool.

Interesting that they still arent fully releaving the killer, which either leads more to the idea that its form is to mimic other survivors, hence it neverblooks the same or they are saving it for the PTB for even more anticipation. Also, I wonder if its called The Unknown because we don't know what it is yet or if it's actually called that

For me, this is the scariest killer in the game. I feel like I'm about to cry in terror every time I run away from him. He's the only one who can compete with the Witch and Michael on my horror list. Stunningly.

I haven’t checked into anything at all, including lore. But maybe the unknown is using the image or body of Mikaelas missing roommate.

She's looking for Mikaela but eventually ends up being lost to the fog and ends up with her then this creature follows.

I like the found footage/analog horror vibe of the chapter. Its very clear that analog horror (among other things) were used as inspirations for the chapter and to create the Unknown's design.

Ok this is actually really interesting I can’t wait to see what this “unknown” killer is about because he’s the first one ever who’s actually pretty scary but that might just be because we’ve barely seen it

I think that the unknown is a parasite, and the "help me" and "I'm sorry" are from the survivor they are currently inside that has been twisted by the unknown. Maybe we will get skins of other survivors

Wow. The marketing for the chapter was amazing. But seeing the new killer, survivor, their map, and perks, its all amazing. Might be one of the best releases yet. So happy I'm apart of this community. Thank you Dead By Daylight for all your hard work!

Love DbD dipping into the analogue horror theme

This chapter is definitely among my favorites already. Love analog horror and love this. Can’t wait to play!

The marketing buildup for this chapter is some of the best we’ve seen. The found footage style intrigue for the killer was super fun and it looks pretty unique among the roster in terms of appearance. Always like seeing new monsters joining the game.

Gotta say, this killer design really restores some faith I had lost after the skull merchants release. The creepiness of this killer compared to the skull merchants… whatever… is really stark. I hope they’re able to keep up this level of design going forward

Either Unknown has the “Billy treatment”, meaning heavily deformed, or it’s gonna be like the Dredge’s sibling or something. Still creepy👍

I am not gonna get too excited. Last time I did, we got the Turd Merchant, instead of a Predator or Terminator killers or something of the sort. Very very very cautiously optimistic.
