I like that actually, it shows the killer isn’t very intelligent which plays into the whole uncanny human mimic thing; it implies that if it was smarter, it’d be MUCH better at tricking people with its human appearance.
I love how he looks but his ability is so BORING!!! So unfortunate. If they just went all in with the skinwalker or mimic design it'd be so cool even if it was weaker
UVX feels like a mix between a Clown's tonic and a Nemesis whip. A lobbed projectile that hinders if it hits a survivor like Clown, but inflicts a status ailment and can do damage like a tentacle strike
The projectile only hinders if hit dead on, not if the blast radius hits. He's like dredge and singularity cause of his infection and teleport. But he's weaker than both 😅
@@tfcbioshock Its clear you never played with him and havent reached his full potential. He has constant remnants, an AOE attack that also goes through walls, slows survivors down, teleports without any animation slowing him down (unlike dredge) , and can infect people while almost losing no speed in the process. Need I say more?
Those voice lines are creepy af It reminds me of the bear in that movie Annihilation, the one that uses the voices of its past victims to lure out more. Scary shit

His power and his lore/looks have pretty much nothing in common I dare you to tell me that you looked at this thing and the first thing that came to your mind was "ahyes he's gonna lob fleshy grenades"
His power is really underwhelming, if he would have crawled it would have been truly creepy - everything else is fine, but they really shit the bed with the power imo
I hope they buff weaving spiders, like make it where the 15% permanent, almost like the brand new part add on for tool box or increase the charges because of how long it takes to activate it
With weaving spiders it'll definitely be smart to wait a while before looking at changes. When the chapter drops, killers will routinely check basement for a couple weeks (or whenever there is a sable), and then we'll see how it is with normal killer behavior. It's a strong enough effect right now that I think it'll be much better to wait and buff/nerf accordingly since it's whole mechanic will cause some weird surv & killer behavior because of novelty.
i looove the look of the map, the forest sections look great compared to the sparse trees in other maps. ive always wanted a forest vibe, and the cinema is just great
Huh? He seems pretty alright though... His design is cool enough (if a bit unexpected considering what the teasers were implying), his perks are... ok i guess (the haste one is mid af, the gen block one is kinda bad without a build but the terror radious one is good) and most importantly his power is actually pretty good if you can aim the spit. Has Mobility, too, though its a bit hard to use. If its timed right you can even use the teleports mid chase!

@@VetriVadeI honestly kinda feel like that was easier at least if you only main a couple survivors and a couple killers. because you only had to get to lvl 30-40 to get the perk you wanted and level your main.

@@RecentCobrathey’re talking about Mikaela, one of the survivors we have in game. In Sable’s bio it mentioned Mikaela being some sort of friend or known acquaintance. Also, if you seen or read her bio in one of the cutscenes or her lore, Mikaela was taken by the entity on a stage similar to the theatre on the new map.
Idk about you guys, but I seem to have a biological timer that lets me know that there's a new killer coming out and that makes me search on RU-vid "DBD new killer". Context: I don't play anymore. I seem to always get it right even though I don't count the months passing by or something, it's just that thought that randomly sparks out of nowhere and it is always right
Bhvr worded undone weird. Each token increases how much the gen gets damaged AND how long it’s blocked for. Basically: 30 tokens = 30% progress removed and 30 seconds blocked etc

The survivor being able to remove the hit from the grenade by just looking at the killer is the most stupid design power in this game. Btw, if you need to hit them twice for one health state…. Why not just m1 them? Does the grenade give any benefits for using it?
It’s for lore reasons. From survivors point of view he gets on all fours to break it with his foot. It’s to show that he’s trying to imitate a human but not knowing how to being showcased by not using his axe to break a pallet
The Look, concept and a Sounds are amazing. But the Power and Gameplay seem weak and kinda Boring. Its pretty Much Singularitys Infection shots and Teleports mixed with Clowns Blast Projectiles and Doctors Hallucinations. If the Killer didint look so cool id probably say a 3/10 Killers but the apearance puts it at 7/10. Tho axe as a weapon seems very odd.
I’m finally coming back to this game after years and it’s crazy to see that survivors continue to get awesome game changing perks and killers still get shitty “buff” perks and perks that sound good in theory but are so specific or rely on the survivors to do something which makes it impossible to use effectively
New surv perks are not awesome though? The basement ritual one is, well, not exactly bad, but way too gimmicky. The healing one is inferior to existing healing perks like botany knowledge or CoH. The third perk is so dogshit I'm not even sure why they bothered adding it

I played multiple games as Unknown. Hes weak as hell. Any surv with half a brain cell can understand how to counter the killer. Literally looking at them for like 5 sec. thats like if singularity could be countered the same way ghostface could. And his teleports arent very good because you can't exactly CHOOSE when to place it. Some changes that would be needed would be longer time it takes to look at the killer to lose the status effect or faster power cooldown, and lastly, make it so survs cant see unknowns hallucinations auras.

I’m not going to talk about the power, my focus is on the voice lines. Why the fuck do they SOUND like that? Yes I know he’s an eldritch horror, but isn’t one of his strengths that he mimics previous victims voices/sentences to make new victims off guard/lure them to death? I LITERALLY can’t understand what he is saying, if the subtitles weren’t there I would just assume he’s making random ass noises. What a let down
That invocation perk is already useless. You will be broken for the rest of the game in exchange of...... mere 15% progress on all generators ?????? After 2 FUC.ING minutes of preparing ???? BHVR is not even funny right now.
This might just be their worst chapter yet. ❤ (They need to gut their senior staff and hire new people who have control over the creative direction of the new chapters because at this point, these new characters are just bloatware and don't add anything interesting to the fray).
